[Domine Nox]

The Kill-team's progress is cut short when presented with a very solid looking sealed door and the only other branch off of their path is an open rip into the void. The datapad to the door appears to still have power.

[Gerhart]

Turning to Thrax,'Well Brother looks like your up.' Thadios walks over to the section ripped open to the void to inspect. 'Brother Varian, Magron on watch.

" Do we not risk the lives of those that may be sheltering in there if we just open the door? Any way we can establish communication first?"

[Gerhart]

'And if they are warp possessed? This is not a rescue mission brother.' Thadios says without turning from the opening.

[Apulo]

Thrax snaps out of his prayer laden, trancelike state and checks the door.

"Auspex is clear on the other side of the door Brothers. I belive this to be the engineering crew quarters. I shall attend do the door."

While chanting to the machine god, mechadendrites swarm out of Thrax's servo harness seeking out connections to the door pad's circutry. When they find connections, he begins the process of urging the machine spirit to open the door.

"Do not fret my friend, I am here, I shall attend to your needs."

Thrax finishes his work. As the door opens, air begins to rush past the Kill-team in a hurried blast, all you see are more bodies as they begin to come towards you all with the escaping atmosphere.

[Gerhart]

'Get in Brothers, Thrax shut it quickly behind us.' Says Thadios running into the new area.

[Apulo]

Thrax rushes into the room and begins to interface with the machine spirit once again.

[Zero]

Varian silently follows Thadios into the room with his bolter at the ready.

At hearing Thadios tell them to get inside Magron turns and moves inside after his Brothers. He attempts to grab one of the bodies floating nearby in order to examine it like the other bodies from before.

Braces against the debris and finding a gap moves inside weapon readied scanning for potential threats!

The door slams shut with the Kill-team inside. Bodies slide and come to rest at the feet of the Space Marines, apart from the one held in Magron's gauntleted hand. With the door shut they look about their surroundings and get the feeling that this passage is not in the engineering crew quarters. Very few doors can be seen in this stretch of hall, and the few that can be seen are larger than standard Imperial design, easily large enough to allow two Astartes through in full battleplate without trouble.

Magron lowers the body to the floor. "Brother Thadios, I would like some time to examine this body. Maybe I will find out more since this one was in an atmosphere."

[Gerhart]

'Of course Brother, I believe all of us should examine this area.' Thadios scans the room looking for anything of use to investigate.

[Apulo]

Thrax brings his bolter to the ready and scans the room keeping an eye on his Auspex the entire time.

Magron kneels down to examine the body. He starts by removing any clothing from the corpse, he decides to look closely at any wounds or trauma on the corpse to determine who or what did this.

After removing the man's uniform Magron notices he does not have any insignia of any kind. Also his wounds seem to be consistent with bolt weapons. Magron tried to dig further in his exam but was unable to uncover anything else except that the wounds were caused by a bolter of some kind.

Magron rose from kneeling over the corpse to address his Kill-team. "Brothers, this person was killed by a bolter of some sort." He raised a clawed finger. "I have come to the belief that this is the work of Chaos forces. The two bodies in the hanger could have been killed by a Daemon some of kind while these." Here he indicated the body. "Could have been killed by a Traitor or other."

Magron looks to Ivanov and asks. "Brother I need you to try finding any trace of warp touch or taint on this body if possible."

[Apulo]

"Brothers, Auspex is picking up an energy signature ahead. I'm not sure how large, the Auspex is unable to provide that much detail at this distance."

[Talon Lord Othrim]

Kneel's down and rests a hand over the deceased. Drawing upon his psynecent training he begins to probe for tell tail warp signatures emitted from the body it'self whilst blocking out external interference.

"We should check it out then, lets get closer." Says Varian as swaps to his power sword and plasma pistol.
