'Aye if the ship was stuck in the warp that would make senses....stay alert Brothers.' He says, 'Brother Thrax you have a melta-bomb or something similar yes?'

"Negative Brother, I do not carry such weapons. If need be, I might be able to set the ship's powerplant to overload but I would rather not. I do not cherish the thought of silencing a Machine Spirit such as this."

[Gerhart]

'So be it, my mistake Brother . Remind me to bring explosives with us on the next mission.' Thadios says a slight growl in his tone. Approaching the hallway with bolter at the ready,'Well Brothers, none of this is in the schematics. Two doors, one right one left, and the hallways bends around one-hundred meters. I'm open to ideas, though I would like to meet this large energy source Thrax located.' Thadios says still maintaining contact down the hall.

[Apulo]

Thrax keeps scanning the hallway, bolter at the ready. He points to the left.

"The signal comes from that direction Brother. Either around the bend or behind that door to the left."

[Gerhart]

"There is so much fear here."

He intones looking up.

"I do not sense any tendrils of the warp coming from the body it'self. It's difficult with us being so close to the anomaly"

Seeing the others ready to move out he engages his Shoulder mounted weapon into readied position and takes both hands to his Claymore checking to see if he has room to wield it properly....

[Gerhart]

'Door to the left then, Thrax will open the door. When it opens Varian and I in first, enter in twos overwhelm anything in the room. Thrax enter last set-up in doorway covering hallway, so nothing can come from behind without us knowing.' With that Thadios sets off, bolt pistol in left hand spear in right.

[Zero]

Varian takes his position by Thadios waiting to charge in once the door opens.

Magron readies his Lighting Claws, power field crackling to life. He positioned himself on one side of the door so when it was his turn to go in he was ready. "Ready Brother."

[Apulo]

Thrax slams his back against the wall beside the door.

"Ready?"

As mechadendrites seek their usual connections, he mutters the Rites of Forging, urging the Machine Spirit to open the door.

[Domine Nox]

Under Thrax's urging the door slides open and the team rushes in by twos. The scene is grim. There is a makeshift barricade in the center of the large room. It is hard to tell what it is crafted from as it is covered in blood, gore and limbs. Bodies litter the area, barely leaving any of the deck visible under the carnage. Spent shells also are scattered around. It leaves no doubt in your minds that this was the site of a last stand.

Magron looks upon the sight and sighs. "Chaos." He waits for Thadios's order to move.

[Apulo]

Thrax turns his head behind him.

"Brothers, Auspex says that the power source is in the far corner of the room"

He turns his head back, bolter at the ready, and scans for targets up and down the hallway.

[Gerhart]

'Brothers search the room for any detail you can obtain, I will stand watch. We will secure any further rooms like we did here.' Thadios says moving into position with Thrax,'Brother Thrax, go shed some light if you can.' Thadios takes position in the doorway with his bolter, to give him full view of the hallway but it keeps his body unexposed. 'If someone can try and ID that Astartes guantlet in amongst the bodies.'

Magron moves forward into the room searching for any further clues as to the attackers. As he searches he voxs to Thadios. "Brother I do not think I would find any further clues by examining the bodies."

[Apulo]

"This way Brothers."

Thrax spins, and slowly creeps toward the source of the Auspex signal, his eyes sighting down the barrel of his bolter the whole time.

[Zero]

Varian looks around for anything of interest.

Magron stops in mid-search to follow Thrax. He lowers his body and tenses up. "On your word Brother." He voxs to Thrax.

[Zero]

"Brothers, look here, an Astartes' Gauntlet is sticking out from under these bodies." Says Varian as he begins to remove the bodies.

Thrax points to a great mound of gore and bodies with a servo arm.

"Indeed, the power source is under this pile and it's signature is similar to a power armor mass reactor. I still suggest caution while we dig through this pile."

He begins to slowly dig through the mess with his servo arms keeping his bolter focused on the center of the pile the whole time.
