Magron flicks off much of the old blood on his gloves, places his Lighting Claws on and follows his fellow Deathwatch Brothers. He follows beside Thrax and nods to him. "Brother Thrax. This is not the first time I have worked side-by-side with a Techmarine." Magron muttered a short slow litany to his Lighting Claws and the Flamers within.

[Apulo]

Thrax falls in behind Thadios walking forward cautiously, bolter at the ready, scanning for targets.

[Zero]

"Be on alert, whaatever did this to these people may still be here." Says Varian as he heads to the hangars exit and looks down the hallway.

[Domine Nox]

The team moves out of the hanger into the narrower halls of the Strike Cruiser. The halls are dark, but the auto-sense of the Astartes helmets cut through the gloom displaying a continuation of the grisly scene. Blood is smeared on walls deck, though no bodies can be seen. All manner of damage is visible along the halls, blasts through the walls, ceiling and floor. The sensors in the teams armor continue to read the lack of atmosphere as the structural integrity has been compromised.

Attempting to follow the schematics imparted to them by the Inquisitor the team makes their way down the ruined corridors surrounded by the silence of space, and the bloody remains of the fallen. Despite the ruined condition it does feel familiar. The path follows through silent corridors, due to missing sections or major collapses the team is forced to detour several times until you come to a lift that appears to be in working order on minimal power. The schematics tell you that the engine level is four levels down from your current position.

[Zero]

"Alright shall we head down to the engine level?" Says Varian as he takes a defensive position on the lift. "Hmm I'm picking up signs of an Atmosphere, this must lead down to area of the ship that is still intact."

[Gerhart]

'Brother Ivanov maintain watch. Thoughts? I would rather not take the death box down, maybe slower but I would prefer to continue as we have.' Thadios says eyeing the elevator.

[Yapay38]

"I agree with you Brother. That is just a trap waiting to happen." Magron responded. "Perhaps we could open up the floor and precede straight down?"

[Gerhart]

Turning to Magron,'open the floor? Illuminate me brother.'

[Zero]

"Trap or no trap we need to get down there." Says Varian waiting impatiently on the lift. "It's nothing we can't handle."

[Yapay38]

Magron indicated himself and Thrax. "Well we have two Brothers that are capable of going threw the deck plating." Flicking on the power field on his Claws he continued. "I say if it's almost right below us we go straight there."

[Apulo]

"Brothers, I am disturbed. I was finally able to pinpoint the interference to my Auspex. Whatever weapon was used against this vessel left behind unidentifiable electromagentic fields that wreak havoc on my sensors. Whatever did this, I have never seen anything like it."

Thrax pokes his head into the elevator. "I also agree that taking an elevator that is running on reserve power systems is very risky. I could cut a passage to the deck below but it will take some time."

[Gerhart]

Cocking his head at the crackle of Magrons claws,'No brothers, Ivanov says we are not alone. Right now we hold an advantage, I will not throw that away. We will continue as we have, Varian on you brother.' Motions to move out,

"We have a Techmarine who can open up a path. I could assist him with my Lighting Claws." Magron amended.

[Gerhart]

'No, we take the long way.' says Thadios in a tone that harbors no room for disagreement. 'Varian on you.'

[Zero]

"Alright then, lets keep going." Says Varian as he leads the team in search of another way down to the engine level. "But there were signs of atmosphere in the lift..."

Magron grunts and replies. "Very well Brother." He moves back to move besides Thrax.

[Apulo]

Mechadendrites seek out power conduits and other circuits testing them for faults. Satisfied that nothing seems to be defective Thrax reports.

"The lift is viable. We should be able to use it safely. The traces of atmosphere indicate that the decks below us might be pressurized and we may find survivors."

[Gerhart]

'Atmosphere, survivors? After we get what power we can get turned back on we can bring it down to us and have a look. Fair enough?'

[Zero]

"Very well Brother, let us continue then."

[Talon Lord Othrim]

From his position on watch Ivanov again stills his mind and forces out the chaos about him. Folding the miasma of warp energies into tendrils of thought he again reaches out with his mind so see if his advanced position gives him a clearer indication of life near by.

After a few moments.


"Brothers there is most defiantly a mind still present upon this Emperor Forsaken Craft. It seems to be coming from below us but as yet I am unable to give you more information."
