"yes I'm from Middenhiem I escaped during the siege of the chaos forces. I'm looking for work at the moment that was the reason for me travelling through the mountains and here was going to be my first stopping point before travelling to other cities looking for work"

"We are to travel West of Heldegrad." hi points to a map. " there is a ruin I wish to dig further." he places his hand on the tablet. "my uncle was to assist me in the translation of the text down there. I can still do it but may take me a little longer. I will pay 75g a day, a handsome fee I think you'll find."

Wulfric let's out a low whistle "a handsome fee indeed milord when do we set off?"

"Hector here will see you to one of my guest chambers for now" saying that he looked to Hector, who, seeing his lords intentions bows. " Most of the preparations are made I was just awaiting my uncle to join me so we should be ready to travel by mid day?" The question framed towards Hector
"Adequate timing m'lord"
"Till then you are my guest for doing me a service please avail yourself of food and wine and if you need anything I'm sure Hector could get it arranged for you. Any questions?"

"We'll go into that as we travel I have quite a lot of preparations to make before tomorrow. Hector will see your provided for."
Hector taps your elbow to get your attention and smiling nods to exit.

You are well provided for for the evening. Food, drink and a very comfortable place to sleep.

The next morning you are woken by gentle knocking.

Wulfric opens his eyes and stands "yes" wulfric says as he dresses

The voice of a young boy calls out " My lord the master has sent me. He awaits you in the courtyard"

Wulfric gathers his possessions together and walks out of the room stretching as he walks out into the court yard and settles a hooded cloak around his shoulders " so milord which direction do we head in" he says with a broad smile taking in all that is going on around him.

Lord Ralthen walks over "Morning Wulfric, I trust you slept well? We will be riding east within the hour. All preperations are nearly complete. I have organised you a mount. I assume you can ride?" He gestures over to where some stable hands are tacking up riding mounts.

"The bed was softer than I'm normally use to sleeping on but i slept fine" Wulfric days with a smile " I have A small amount of experience riding horse enough not to get thrown or have it bolt away, so east towards the badlands?"

Its only half a days ride till we get to the dig site. We should be ready to begin work by the morning.

"Well caravans like this often attract the attention of raiders. Opportunistic low lives out to a quick coin. It's never been more than we can handle really. Sorry but I must supervise the finall assembly." With that he leaves you.

Wulfric watches lord ralthan walk away before walking over to a groom "which one of these is mine?" He asks looking at the horses

The stable boy looks up from what he is doing. "Sir Wulfric?" he points to a horse. "that bay over there, shes an older horse but still strong. She will carry you all day and night but not so good at a gallop over distance." The horse is tacked and ready to go.
