[Thugren]

you go for a mile, and the carnage only seems to grow. BOdies lay on either side of the road, broken as if by an incredible force.

 

YOu come to a halt as a figure can be seen in the distance.

 

A badger like creature walks the road. A massive mace rests on his shoulder as he walks and a weakly flailing ghoul is being draghged behind him by the leg.

 

THugren cocks his head in confusion as he watches, standing up.

 

"he did this...Alone?"

[Armoured Priest]

"Badger varghen....it looks like it Thugren." he said, putting down his binocs for now. "Hm, wonder why he's dragging it with him." He wondered to himself, refering to the ghoul the badger help captive. He looked over to Thrask and Thugren. "You two going to go with me and see what's going on with this varghen? Rather not have the company vehicles get close and set him off." He said to them.

[Thugren]

Thugren and thrask hop up, and jump down from the tank.

 

"On your move abrega....Well use your bulk as a shelid."

[Armoured Priest]

"Of course you will." Aberga sighed to himself as climbed out of the hatched and closing it back up. "It's not like I'm a living reactor or anything." He sarcasticlly mumbled as well. He began walking up to the badger and stopped when there was still a respectable distance between them. He looked behind him to make sure they were actually there before turning back to the varghen. "Excuse me." He called out, wanting to get it's attention first.

the badger stops and tightens, whirling around and swinging the undead bodily at your head like a club.

 

"WHATY THE HELL ARE YOU DIE!"

"Reptilian?!" he shouted as an answer, taken by surprise of the sudden action. Aberga's arm pulsed brightly with a green light as he raised it in the hopes of grabbing the cadaver and vaporize it in his grasp, and hopfully make the badger think twice and acutally talk

the body is vaporized, but a visous haymaker takes you off the ground and sends you tumbling head over heels through the bodies of the broken undead.

 

"Oh.....Youre alive.....Hi.......How can i helop you."

[Armoured Priest]

"Not punching me in the face would be a great fucking start!" Aberga said as he stood back up with great difficulty, his vision still swimming as he held the side of his head that recieved the blow. He looks over to Thrask and Thugren. "I'm done tanking for you two...." he growled under his breath as he walked back toward the badger. "I was going to ask for you to....please move aside so my company can use the road." he said as he thought his words carefully, pointing his thumb over his shoulder down the road behind him.

[Thugren]

 The badger shakes his head.

 

"This is my road...I claimed it....YOu find another way."

 

He sa7ys, shouldering his mace and grabbing a dead body.

 

"Ive got somone to find at the end of this road. He needs help."

Aberga was about to try argue with the badger before what the last thing he said struck a cord. "This road?" he said to himself before he took out his device again. On the projection the road on the map stretched for several miles, with little to nothing on it, towards the medical facility Aberga was heading to. "Who are you to help? Maybe we could....give you a lift?" he offered. If what he was thinking was even remotely right, then why is the badger going to help cain?

the badger raises an eyebrow.

 

You want to help me? Im looking for my friend melinko."

 

He cocks his head.

 

'you are heading there too?"

Aberga's eyes shift between the dot that is the facility and the badger and sees that it is familiar to him. "If you think your friend is there then yes, we both are heading there. I'm helping friends of my own as well." he explained as he stored away the device again. "Just hitch a ride with us, I'm sure that beats walking all the way there." He held out a hand in greeting after slipping a lead line glove on it. "I'm Aberga, Aberga Nocturne."

[Thugren]

They call me Smash."

He says simply, taking your hand and shaking with a grip stinger than iron .

" I'll be happy to go.... But there is a massive battle there... You all don't exactly look like warriors.."

His eyes slightly narrowed at the remark smash made. It would be one thing it was directed at him, but he takes more pride in the people in his company more then himself. "Really now? Wait till we get there, I believe showing is better then talking for something like this." he said. "Besides, the people who there fighting now are probably the best warriors any of us will see in our lifetime." he commented, refering to the people cain has recruited as part of black company, as he turned around and started walking back to the super heavy tank. "Come on you three, I doubt we have all day if they're in the thick of it already with the chinese."

[Thugren]

Smash looks at your tanks and cocks his head.

 

"THis?"

 

he putsh is hand on the side of one of your tank and grips it with both hands.

 

"is the secret of your strength?"

 

There is a horrible screamking and screeching as the badgers muscles bulge and he rips the entire right treadline of one of your tanks free.

 

"AM i missing something here?"
 

[Armoured Priest]

Aberga stopped in mid step at the sound of screaming metal and turned on his heals only to see the badger varghen now holding the long length of treads in his paws. ".....Why would you do that?." he said, barely keeping  back the tone of horror at seeing  on of the company vehicles now crippled. "That's going to take hours even with the repair and recovery units." he grumpled as he pulled out his com unit. "RR squad three, please move forward to repair python M.B.T 24." He ordered before looking back to the badger, pointing at the hole in the tank. "Explain?" he said, hoping to have a somewhat logical reason to the badger's action.

[Thugren]

He cocks his head as if not understanding your anger.

 

"This is your strength yes?"

 

he puts down the tread as thugren sputters in disbeleif.

 

"How can this be your strength if i can pull it apart like paper?"

[Armoured Priest]

"No, that's not what I meant you...." Aberga stopped himself before his hand covered his face and shook his head. "The strength is not everyone or thing individually, but everything combine, working with one another." he started explaining. "You understand that yes? How its not always something big and anger that wins either?" he asked, trying to see where the badger's thoughts are. And wondering what's taking RR unit 3 so long to move up through the stationary company.

[Thugren]

the rr unit rolls into place and slowly lifts the tank, setting about the repais as the driver looks at the crippled tank in confusion.

 

"But..Its so easy to....OHHHHH i see waht you mean."

 

The badger chuckles contently.

 

"so you use these things to be strong...I u8nsderstand now....YOu silly city folk."
 

He hefts his maces, smiloing big.

 

"Maces are so much easier."

Aberga blinked a few times as the badger hefted his massive weapon. "....Is that so?" Aberga said as a smirk formed. He help up a hand flat with the palm upturned. A small sickly green orb rose from his scaly palm, pulsing with energy. "Would you believe that this can decimate a city block smash?" he asked him, wondering if the badger knew any history at all.
