[Lafayra Rue]

Raissa picks herself up and looks around. Her nostrils burn from the intense smells of all the broken containers of chemicals. "Suppose we should leave before I kill us...again." She moved the briefcase to her other hand and hit the quarantine button as she left the lab.

When she steps out into the hallway she sees Sethis and Krausus down a few doors. Krausus is hunched over and Sethis stands over a body. The stench of rotting flesh fills the hallway. She smirks at Krausus as she walks up. "You look better covered in your own..." she glanced down at the body recognizing the adornments and what was left of the face, "...blood..."

For the first time since the men had known her, Raissa's face went completely blank. There was no iciness, no anger, no sarcasm. The only indication of emotion is the small drops of blood running down her knuckles from her nails slicing into her palms. A sadistic, satisfied smiles twists across her face. "Good fucking riddance you sick fuck."

the enforcers run down the hall and see the scene.

"WHat happened?!"

they yelp, seeing the body and the horrible state that krausus is in.

"We are being attacked....Unseen assailants..M
He forces himself up as he moptions for raissa.

"THey came to stop us from heading to russia ...The mission was toa assinate the leader of a group called the blood born....We will cartry out our job."

The enforcers run off and krausus grips his stomach tightly to keep his organs from spilling while his body heals.

Sethis only nodded as he made sure Kraussuss didn't slump over or something else happens while his body heals. He was somewhat relieved as he saw the wound stitching itself back together, forgotten what their organs have given them. But it didn't relieve all of his worries. "How soon should we get the cyro-gel?" he asked him quietly as he crouched near him to support him. He looked up to Raissa. "Willing to talk about the organs again later frauline?" he asked her, wanting to figure out why Kraussus organs were acting the way they were.

"Organs? What do you mean talk about the organs? What's going wrong?" She knelt down in front of Krausus, lifting his chin with her fingers and putting her other hand on his forehead. A look of worry crosses her face for just a moment before she frowns at him.

"What in the hell....Krausus you should have told me right away that you weren't well." She grabbed his free wrist, feeling for his pulse. "It feels like your body is rejecting the organs, sending antibodies out to fight the foreign tissue, but with the rapid regeneration the organ are healing themselves quicker than your body can try to break them down."

Her frown deepened. "I didn't prepare for this. Sethis handled his transfer phenomenally so I wasn't able to explore the potential of the organs being rejected."

Krausus stands, ignoring the incredible pain shooting through his limbs.

"Ignore it...Its been proven the gel will work. Ive studied cains profile while i was hunting, if we get an orridium geode we can stabilize my bodies rejection easily."

The alarms blare as enforcers scurry about putting everything on lockdown.

"THe furher is going to get informatyiopn that the blood born did this....We need him to think i am fine. If he thinks i am deteriorating he will choose another of the black hand."

Raissa gives him a hard disapproving look. "Sure act tough, whatever." She grabs the briefcase and stands, walking a few paces away. Her free hand moves up to grab a small section of her hair that she starts twisting around her finger. Her gaze falls to the body of Rasputin again.

She kneels down, ignoring the terrible stench and starts rifling through his pockets and pouches. "You set me up...you've always set me up for bullshit...but in the end you always had a solution."

"If you wan to cover up that fact, then you need that gel now. You look like your knocking on death's door, even with that fast healing." Sethis said as he stood up with Kraussus, brushing off the dried flakes of blood from his officer trenchcoat. "You stay here and try not to antagonize her, I am going to look for what gel should be left in the surgical rooms since they probably locked down the exits by now." he told him as he glanced down the halls at the recent activity. "We will talk about everything else later Ja?" he asked as he started heading off for his errand, referring to his information, his time away, ect. He only hope that the armoured enforcers would be too busy to delay him.

the enforcers run past and kraus leans up agasint the wall cradling his stomach.

You rummage through the dead mans clothes and find a hard drive. "he alwatys did have a thing about keeping info readily avilable."

ySeth gets into the med room easily, the gel sits in the cooler somberly, fridgid in the container

"Ah, gut there is still some here." Sethis said to himself with some relief. He goes over to the equipment set up and grabs the frosted over container with gloved hands. He might not have to worry about the cold, but he still detests it. Slipping the container into an inside compartment of his trench coat and closes it back up, he heads back to Kraussus and Raissa.

Raissa stows the hard drive in her bra and stands. "I'm risking everything to follow your lead, Krausus, because my better half thinks you're right and you aren't lying to me. You screw me over, you'll be finding another scientist to help you kick start those failing organs of yours." She walked to the other side of the hall and leaned against the wall.

Krausus smirks and reaches into his trenchcoat to pull out a PDA .

The feed clicks on and it shows four shadowy figures escorting a man to a car.

" face the camera here doktor.."

The assassin growls and te man looks at the direction of the camera.

Without a shadow of a doubt your father looks into your eyes unknowingly . The feed die and krausus grins.

" still doubt me fräulein ?

Sethis walks up to the two of them, seeing Kraussus showing Raissa something on his pda it seems. "Wow, you two, not yelling at each other? Progress." he said in a chuckle muffled by the cracked mask as he reaches in his trench coat and pulls out the cryo container. "I have jar of ice, I have a jar of ice." he hummed quietly to himself, a joke only to him. "I'm guessing you are just going to try and shoot this straight into your veins?" he asked as he touched a button and intimidating needle poked out of one the ends of the container, used to inject specimens with the cryo gel held with in.

Raissa's voice comes out quiet and broken as she grabs Krausus's wrist tightly, staring at the screen of the PDA. "Papa...." Her icy demeanor seems to break bit by bit as she watches her father look up at the camera and the feed turn to black, leaving her vulnerable and weak, her hands start to shake and she unwittingly starts to tighten her grip on Krausus's wrist.

Krause puts his hands over raissas and for the first time in recent memory his voice softens .

" it's ok fräulein .... He's going to be safe.... Now I'm deteriorating very fast here. I won't last the hour at this rate so would you and my brother please focus long enough to chill my internal temperature enough that the organs go back to normal?.... "

He forces a pained smile.

"I was just waiting for you two to stop talking so I would not interrupt, you know I don't like being rude." Sethis said sincerely with a shrug as he moved forward. "Stand up straight if you can. This might feel a little weird." he asked as he looked left then right, looking up and down the halls, before he lifted Kraussus shirt up. "Thoracic cavity, Abdominal cavity, leaving the pelvic cavity alone." he listed off to himself as he pushed the needle into area appropriate to inject the cyro-gel in the cavities to cool off the correlating organs of the cavity.

Raissa pulls her hand away from Krausus, goosebumps creeping up her arms, and moves back across the hall. She rests her forehead against the wall, trying to get a grip on herself. "Papa's here....he's ok....thank the gods...." the small prayer slips past her lips, the first one she had made since her mother had left on that cold, snowy day so long ago.

When she realizes her emotions have a solid control on her, she turns around to watch Sethis tend to his brother. "One of you needs to make me angry." she said aloud. "I'm no good to you now that my better half has broken down several of the walls I've built up over the years."

Sethis raised a scaly brow behind the mask as he gave her a side glance, still making sure the gel was properly applied into his brother. "And what makes you say that?" he asked her. "I doubt you would suddenly lose your vast knowledge just because your ice melted off." he commented as he finished the injections. "Feeling better bruder?" he asked Krassuss as he let his shirt back down, placing the empty cyro-syringe back into his trench coat pocket.

"You have worked with me long enough to know how I function Sethis. Emotions like fear and caring are of no use to me and only hold me back. I need to be back in control." She looked into his mask, staring hard.

"Except anger it seems. And your logic side kept you back a number of times from taking the chance to be free from Rasputin. Not to mention they both cut you off from many other options because you do not think of them." Sethis said with a shrug. "Like anything, one extreme may have it benefits, but severe drawbacks. The real trick is to find a balance." he said without looking at her.

"I have no balance, anger drives me, keeps me level headed enough where I won't fuck something up. Everything I've been though forced me to push away the other emotions. Fear leaves you vulnerable to those who have power over you and caring gives them leverage....I didn't need them then and I sure as hell don't need them right now, so do us all a favor and piss me off!"

Her hands shake and her eyes look watery. She swallows hard, closing her eyes tightly as she slams her fist against the wall.
