The natives disperse at the words from the kill-team. The Aurun that Bethor drew his weapon on stares down the barrel defiantly before storming off with the others. With the natives dispersed the priest makes his way towards the kill-team.

"Thank you Lord Space Marines. I am Father Marius chief missionary of the Word of Faith. The only Imperial Mission on Aurum." He says. "It is good to see the warriors of the Imperium here."

Hannibal walk to the priest, "where is the imperial delegation on this planet, who is the imperial leader and where is he, or are you the only imperial in this planet?"

[Armoured Priest]

Tarrus turned his attention from the priest to Hannibal. "Perhaps he know of the last murder, the one of the Soriritas that the rogue trader metioned." He suggested.

[Grimaldus]

hannibal turn to meet the tech priest eyes, "then ask him brother" pointing the priest with his head, "we all are equal here brother, remember that"

The Blood Angel had been watching the situation calculating how it was going to evolve. After deciding their would be no more hostile threats he came in closer and joined in with the conversation. 'We are here to investigate the murders on this planet, what information can you give us on this?.'

Surprised by the bombardment of questions the priest takes a moment before addressing them in turn.

"The Word of Faith is the only Imperial Mission on Aurum. The Aspirance is located over yonder." He says as he points to a squat building a ways off. "That is where the dozen or so guardsmen attached to this mission that are permitted to stay make their barracks." He swallows hard.

"As to the murders." He looks around warily. "I am not too familiar with them, I only concern myself with bringing the light of the Emperor to these misguided people. Sister Rachayel was very devoted to attempting to get to the bottom of it. A grave loss to our mission and the Imperium as a whole." Father Marius continues shaking his head regretfully. "Her body has been shipped back to her order for final rites. Before she died she was investigating the faithless of Aurum. She had great concern that they were hiding something." He gives a slight chuckle as though being dismissive.

"She told me that she sometimes saw flames dancing on the western horizon and small convoys of men setting out through the back gates in the dead of night - always headed north. She thought it might be the work of a daemon." His face grows serious. "I brushed aside her words at the time, but I know her faith was strong and she would never have taken her only life. So I must believe that there was some glimmer of an answer from what she said." A tear wells up in the old priest's eye. "The last time I saw her alive she had been planning to follow one of those convoys."

[Grimaldus]

"thank you priest for your answer, i know we ask of you too much already, but how far from here does the convoys travel?"

[Domine Nox]

"I have no idea. I have never even seen these convoys. As I said I thought them flighty notions of Sister Rachayel." The priest replies. "All I know is that she would range into the cliffs around Haistand. Sometimes she would be gone for days, so I can only assume she ventured farther following them."

[Grimaldus]

"thank you priest, you can go back to your duties, knowing you help a space marine do his duty", hannibal then turn to meet the eyes of his squad "Brothers we have a new objective, we must reach the cliff before the night, we shall wait there to see if there are any convoys, if there are, we will follow them with the cover of the night" he wait a couple of seconds before he spoke again "any question or suggestions Brothers?"

"It will be smart to set up a perimeter when we do reach the cliffs, perhaps a base camp as well, we could be there a very long time waiting for these convoys"

[Armoured Priest]

"Father, before you leave, do you know of any notes or papers she kept about her investigations? They could help us with ours." Tarrus asked before the preist could go.

"I do not know of any notes she kept, and all her belongings were sent back to her order." The priest says. "If you have any questions about the locals you might wish to speak to Caele Rylus Darkscourge. He is the leader of the Aurun's."

"I see, thank you for time." Tarrus turned to the squad. "Shall we go to this darkscourge?" He asked, with a hint of distaste following the name.

Hannibal look to the templar after hearing what he said "in the future you should be more careful with your words...brother" said with a ironic tone.

Hannibal then start walking to the cliffs that the priest pointed.

[Armoured Priest]

Tarrus followed the raptor to the cliffs. He kept out his poweraxe for any more unforseen problems.

As Hannibal and Tarrus reach the gates of the city that exit to the North they are stopped by several Aurun warriors.

"Hold there off-worlder." One says stepping up to them. "You are not permitted to leave the city. No off-worlder is allowed beyond Haistand." His tone does not sound as though he is open to negotiation.

[Armoured Priest]

"Hmmmm, expected. Perhaps now you want to speak with darkscourge?" He asked Hanniabl once more in a dour tone, keeping distance from the natives.
