[Domine Nox]

Davius fires off a round from his bolt pistol as his jump begins his descent the round tears through the hide of the beast into the soft flesh underneath before exploding tearing the reptile to bits. Davius slams to the ground near the smoking remains.

Tarrus lines up a shot on the fleeing lizard, but before he can fire he sees it explode from Davious' Hellfire round. Surveying the scene Tarrus sees that most of the mayhem has died down and the few remaining beasts are getting under control.

Davian jumps onto the beasts neck nearest him, and wraps his arms around the beasts throat trying to throttle it when he hears the natives calling to the lizard and motioning at him with a shooing gesture. Looking around Davian sees that the herd seems to be under control once more.

Bethor manages to get clear, but as he sights in his melta he sees that most of the danger and chaos has passed as the few beasts left are being put under control by the handlers once more.

Hannibal waits for the lizard to charge him and as it does it is cut off by a native with a whip, shouting and snapping the whip, cowing the beast into submission. The herder leads the beast back over with the others as things upon the road calm down once more. Some of the natives assist with trying to clean up the mess of the dead animals, and most likely salvage the meat.

"What in the name of the omnissiah?" Tarrus asked to no one in paricular. Replacing his bolter back to it's mag lock position, He walk to a clear spot an waited for the other to gather around.

Hannibal walk to tarrus side "i least thats over" said to tarrus, "everyone regroup on me, lest wait for the civilians to move, lest make sure they are safe and the herb is in control, afterwards we shall move on to the city" yell to the squad.

Hannibal watch as the great beast came into submission by the natives "impressive" he thought "how so primitive people can control so powerfull beast"

"Perhaps they are not weak as I thought" tarrus stated as he observed the natives. He also recalled one of the natives able to overcome bethor's strength. "There's hope for them yet maybe."

Davious removed his chainswords from the beasts corpse and Locked them to his waist. 'Let us move with haste brothers.' He said as he continued towards the city.

Davian retrieves his powersword from the abdomen of one of the beasts "why did these beasts become so unnerved?" saying this to himself he then regroups with Hanibal

"we continue our march to Haistand, there we shall speak with the imperial delegation"

'Brothers maybe we should remove our helmets to show we are not hostile, we do not need another situation like before'. Davious removes his helmets and and carries it under his left arm.

"Blood angel, this is my true face." He pointed to his helm. "My armor is apart of me as much as I am a part of it, ever since completing my training with the priesthood on Mars." He turned and began the trek up the dirt road with the others.

Davian removes his helm, this is the first time he has done so on this mission, he displays rugged features on his face, and short spiked black hair,as well as a scar going from his cheek to the top of his ear from the time he defended a planet from an ork invasion many years ago. He looks down at his own helm,"our face is our identity, its features define us, makes us who we are, and tells stories about our deeds as space marines. But our armour, it shows who we are aswell, it shows our pride, our courage, and our loyalty to our chapter. Some may prefer to display this by wearing their helm instead"

Bethor makes no move to remove his helm or the hood that covers it instead he moves into the center of the group and keeps his Multi Melta at his chest ready at a moments notice should it be needed.

The team makes their way up the rest of the road to Haistand, it is clear the people are still very curious of the Space Marines, and despite their display still not cowed by the power the Astartes wield.

Heading for the Imperial seat upon Aurum the kill-team makes their way to the Word of Faith, Ecclesiarchy mission.

A gaunt, balding man in worn Ecclesiarch robes stands outside the mission. He holds a worn copy of the Imperial Creed in one hand as three Aurans tower over him wearing mocking expressions. One of the young men makes a halfhearted grab for the book.

"Why would a real god need his stories saved in your see-speak?" The missionary narrowly avoids the first Auran but almost backs into another. The second one leans in,

"Why does he use frail old men to spread his name? If your Emperor is so mighty, why don't real warriors follow him?" It is at that moment the missionary catches sight of you. His eyes alight with hope, as though the Emperor himself has just answered his prayers. he straightens his posture and points defiantly towards your team.

"Here, here is your answer! I have told your disbelieving ears that the Emperor protects, and the proof stands before you. These men are his holy champions, and the mightiest warriors in the galaxy."

Hannibal heard the dispute that was taking place and he saw when the priest point to the kill team, he approche to settle the dispute and to protect the old priest.

"The Emperor, use old men like this priest to spread the imperial cult, because warriors like us are needed elsewhere, because we are needed to defend mankind from is enemies" Hannibal then came closer to the second man and stood right in from of him "and if you ever doubt his might again, i will show you it to you"

i was kind of hoping nosk deal with the nativs, since he is a black templar and his zeal is greater that mine or that the dark angel deal with the natives

Bethor movies so that he can see the man standing before Hannibal and pulls his bolt pistol taking aim at the second native. "We could make an example of these two non believers give the priest his power back better then allowing the world to slip to chaos from lack of belief in the emperor."
