"It seems we should." he replied to hannibal. He eyed the weapons and armor, curious if it could actually stand against the teams imperial weapons. "It would be interesting to see." he said to himself.

'We have very little to go with Hannibal, this may be are only option for now'. Brother Davious replied.

"So be it then, lets see what this "Darkscourge" want" Hannibal then turn the mute from his helmet off. he trun his gaze to the human that spoke to the team

"Lead the way Alkedere, we will meet your leader"

[Domine Nox]

In following Alkedere you are led to a large building that can only be the Caele's home. Alkedere takes the team to a large circular chamber. The room has a sand floor and no furniture. There are no external windows, instead several wall sconces provide torchlight and give off a faint herbal smoke. Between the torches hang tapestries so faded that their weaves are nothing but mottled gray outlines of men and beasts.

Caele Rylus Darkscourge enters from the door opposite the one you came through. He stride toward you with confident grace. As he comes closer you realize that his height is level with your battle brothers. He nods a greeting but does not smile; his dark eyes are serious.

"Welcome, Adeptus Astartes. I heard that your tribe had come to Aurum. All that I have read of your kind says that you would not be here without purpose. What is it?"

[Grimaldus]

"Well brother Jurge, he is all yours" said Hannibal through the vox channel.

[Armoured Priest]

The techmarine stepped forward to the aurumen leader. "Caele, We have come to investigate the series of deaths of imperial subjects and possible sightings of xenos on aurum." He began, trying to keep a polite tone despite his metallic monotone voice. " We seek for insight, of which you might be able to provide." He hinted.

"I have heard of the deaths, and can understand your concern. As to the cause if it is Xenos in nature then the Aurum people will be able to take care of it." He says matter-of-factually. "I do not know what other insight you would wish of me."

[Grimaldus]

"dont worry, we will deal with the matter, thats the reason we are here, so we ask for permission to leave the city"

"Aurum law forbids outsiders to venture beyond Haistand. I cannot countermand the edict at your behest." The Caele says. He then holds up a hand as if to ward off any argument.

"Even if I wished to grant you an exception to the laws which have governed your emisaries for decades, my people would never accept it. Honored warriors though you may be in your own Imperium, you are unproven here. No Auran has a voice in our councils until they are initiated through our rituals. I am told your Brotherhood has similar traditions of choosing, so surely you understand their importance." His expression, while still grim, betrays a spark of hope.

"I will offer you an opportunity I have presented no others: undergo the Trial of Proving. Do this, and not only will you advance your Imperium in the eyes of my people, but I will then be free to grant you whatever freedoms and asnwers you need in pursuit of the threat which brought you here."

"so be it then, is all my team to do the trial or only one of us is to be chosen?"

[Domine Nox]

"Your entire company will have to undertake the trials. As only those that undergo the Trail of Proving will be accepted and permitted to pass beyond the walls of Haistand." The Caele replies.

[Grimaldus]

"and when is this trial going to happen?"

[Domine Nox]

"As soon as you and your group are prepared." Rylus replies.

[Grimaldus]

"understood" ahnnibal then switch to the vox channel of the team, "brothers is time we show them the true might of the Imperium"
