Lorundil easily slips through the bushes and undergrowth moving round towards the bear. Their attention on Lord Algen they seem unaware of his presance.

Lorundil sees he has a better shot at the bear and attempts to take it down.

He aims for the bear's head.

Unaware of the rangers presance, the arrow slices into the bears fleshy cheek. With a roar of pain it launches up onto it's hind legs. The goblin holding a rope is flung up into the air and off into the trees.

The Goblin treo shreek and Lord Algen, now aware of the huge beast sets his spear.

"So it was you who controlls the bear!" he yells, "I will see you all dead for this!"

The female goblin steps back and the other two charge towards the lord. The bear paws at it's face.

Again another of Lorundil's arrows finds it's mark. The bear becomes furiouse and charges the first target it sees.

Barreling past the goblins the Bear rushes towards Lord Algen.
Lord Algen seeing the oncoming bear braces the spear point set.

The Bear bats aside the spear and slams into Lord Algen knocking him flying to the floor.

The arrow pierces deep into it's side the Bear swings round looking for it's tormentor

As it spins round the Bear spots Lorundil over in the undergrowth. It roars loudly and begins to charge the partially hidden elf ranger.

Lorundil sees the bear charging fires off a quick arrow into the bear.

The arrow flies down the side of the bear and off into the undergrowth. Now almost ontop if it's target the bear swipes it's massive clawed paw. Large black claws glinting.

Lorundil attempts to dodge the great bear.

Lorundil fails to dodge the bear fast enough and has the roaring beast in his face. The bear tears open Lorundil's left arm open.

His arm torn open the Bear then swipes at his legs to knock him to the floor.

Lorundil successfully dodged the bear's attack and pulled out his short sword and prepared to strike at its chest.

The thick fur of the bear deflects Lorundil's blade leaving nothing but a few tuffs floating in the air. Again the bear roars and it's huge maw snaps to bite at his shoulder.

Lorundil looks at the raging beast and prepares to dodge the bear's head.

Lorundil failed to dodge the bear's head and it bites into his shoulder. A shriek of pain comes from Lorundil as the bear's jaw clamps down.

With primal power the bear throws Lorundil asside then roars in pain. Lord Algen at the other end of an anchient spear thrust in it's side.
"Get up boy!" he yells, "finish it!"

Lorundil jumps on to his feet and pulls out and arrow and his bow.

He aims for the head of the beast.
