Lorundil listened..... yes, something was outside he could hear chatter but could not make out what was being said.

"Argel. I hear something. Do you make out what they are saying?" Whispered Lorundil as he drew out his sword in preparation for a possible defence against an unknown foe.

Lord Algen too, picks up his spear, "No. I just heard a murmur." He dims the lamp and carfully makes his way, keeping low, to the window. Smoke can be seen wafting past the window then an orange glow. "The wood stack next to the cabbin is on fire!" Algen proclaimes "It could set the whole place alight!"

"We need to get out. Quickly!" Quietly said Lorundil as he ran out to extinguish the flames while still holding his short sword in case a enemy was awaiting for someone to leave.

As soon as Lorundil opened the door and made to leave, arrows were launched at him. This was just what the intruders had planned. Flush out the emeny then shoot them down from the cover of darkness in the tree line.

Lorundil heard the arrows released as they flew and attempted to dodge the arrows by using his speed to jump or roll out of the way.

After dodging the arrows Lorundil raises his own and prepares to fire back in the director of the arrows that flew at him.

Lorundil see's his arrow dissapear into the darkness not knowing if he hit anything. His arrow is answered in kind.

Lorundil pulls another arrow out and looks into the darkness to see if he can see the people who have attempted to attack them and instead hears another bow releasing an arrow.

Successfully dodging Lorundil peers into the darkness aiming his bow firing once more.

This time his arrow hits it's mark. A scream in the shade bringing a smile to his face. Lord Algen charges from the hut. "Come on ya bastards! show yourself!" As the fire next to the house builds they could see the glint of red eyes. Four goblins emerge from the undergrowth. Snearing with swords drawn.

"Damn it! Goblins! I need to kill them fast before more come." Spoke Lorundil inside his head.

Before Lorundil could take a shot he had to dodge again as the arrows still flew towards him.

Narrowly dodging the arrows Lorundil takes another shot at the Goblins

The goblin's charge in. Two on Lorundil and two on Lord Algen.

[spoiler=ooc] This is the first time you have been overpowered in combat. What happens is when they atack I will roll twice. If you, beat one roll and you get some damage, beat niether increased damage. Each turn you will be allowed to make an attack unless you fail against both opponants rolls. Do you understand or just want to try it out?[/spoiler]

Lorundil sees the two little buggers charging in. He pulls out his short sword and prepares to strike.

Working as a unit the goblins defend each other against Lorundil's attack. They seperate, one left and one right in order to make his attacks more difficult.

Beating back one of the Goblins Lorundil prepares to strike against one of them with his Short sword. He aims at one of the two Goblins necks. Hoping to keep one of them down long enough to deal with the other.

While he consentrated on defending against the left hand goblin the on on the right managed to slice his blade against his leg. Though not a deep wound it stung.

They were not quick enough. His wide arch slashing across them both, halting there advance. Green blood sprayed and the foul retches fell.

Lorundil after killing the Goblins looked to his wound seeing it open and bleeding a little grew concerned but saw Lord Argel and shook off his own concerns and ran to see if he needed assistance.

So far Lord Algen had kept his attackers at bay using the length of his spear to keep out of range of their blades but he was begining to look tired. His years of experiance showing style over strength, and his was begining to fail him. One of the green skin attackers knocked the spear and the other dived under it to attack...
