You continue through the forest, Lord Algen following behind. Suddenly the floor givesway under foot and you fall. Another of the pit traps. Only your pride is injured for not spotting the trap sooner.
"You ok boy?" you hear Lord Algen say.

"Damn it! I should have seen that!" Raged Lorundil.

"I am fine but am quite the idiot for not seeing it. I guess I'm lucky as no spikes were in here. Give us a lift out of here please." Spoke Lorundil raising a hand to be picked up.

Lord Algen bends to help you up when a screach is heard. "Damn it!" he curses, "It's back. Wait there while I drive it off or we will both be exposed." He clutches his spear and moves away out of your view. You hear the sounds of battle. As you listen the creature and Lord Algen seem to be moving further away.

It's then you hear a new sound. A wet hissing. As you turn to look you see a large spider the size of a full grown st Bernard dog cresting over the edge of the pit. It's multitude of glissening eyes regard you with maliciouse intent. Fangs the size of daggers ooze with it's venom. The creatures 'pet' has sprung it's trap.

Lorundil has a flash of horror when seeing the spider appeared. He quickly draws his bow.

Lorundil uses Asuryan's Grace and quickly draws back the long bow with an arrow and prepares to fire into one of the spider's many eyes.

The spider attempts to jump away from the arrow but it's speed and accuracy render it futile. The arrow embeds it'self as the creature screaches.

Lorundil smiles at the relief of the spider fighting a fight it cannot win.

Lorundil reaches for another arrow and prepares to fire into the the spider's face.

The arrow fly's straight and true hitting the spider in the head. The creature instantly drops it's legs twitching. You almost can't believe your luck.
On an attack roll of 100 erm yes I think it will last long enough lol nice one
Lorundil checks the spider to see if it is dead. Lorundil starts to remove the salvageable arrows.

"Lord Argel? You up there?" Spoke Lorundil as he looked for a way up.
Quite lucky agreed. I had the thought that the Spider was going to kill me with a evil dungeon master laughing in the background =P
Thanks for compliments but thank the dice! =D

Also how long until Asuryan's Grace runs out and how long till I can use it again?

Think of Asuryan's Grace as Legolass's dexterity in the film. It's a natural ability you have and use all the time but when your about to jump up onto a charging horse or leap out of a tree and swing down the branches just let me know your paying special attention to using it. I give your rolls a bonus.
Both arrows pull freely out of the giant arachnid and with a little run/hop you can reach the top of the pit to climb up.
If you want to climb give me a roll and get above 25
As you begin to climb the side of the pit you almost make it out when a second spider drops from the trees and knocks you back in. It hiss's and as you fall back into the pit leaps at you.

Critical Fail!!

As you land hard on the floor the spider leaps onto your back. It's massive bulk pinning you to the floor. You feel the large fangs pierce into your lower back and a sharp sting as it injects it's venom right next to your spinal column. The pain begins to subside as a numbness spreads throughout your body.

You loose all sence of feeling and control of your limbs and you can only watch as the giant spider begins to wrap you in it's silken coffin.

Lorundil lay there on the ground unable to feel what the spider was doing. Knowing there was nothing he could do he laid there until the venom wore off.
Don't know if you can help me but could I roll some thing to help me get out of this. Perhaps recover or heal or am I unable to do them?
You see the half human spider creature, an arrow sticking out of its shoulder stand at the top of the pit. It hisses and its giant spider pet leaves you laying there. "Sshhhhhhh flesh, fresh flesh. Now we eatssssss"

It's chest explodes in a shower of blood and visara. An elegant and ornate spear tip, protrudes from the oozing hole. As the creature falls forward, dead into the pit beside you, you see Lord Algen standing in its place. With the tip of his spear he dlices through the webbing. "When you can. Get up. You can't kill a bear sat on your arse!"

After some time life returns to your body. The punture holes hurt like hell now the venom has worn off. Lord Algen helps you out of the hole. "The Arachnida will not return now it smells the blood of its master. Thought I'd be hunting alone for a time."

"Thanks for the save Lord Algen. I don't want to think of what would have happened if you didn't return." Shivered Lorundil as he got back onto his feet and steadied himself. Lorundil still felt the horrid pain from an open wound on his neck.

"I got one of the bastard spiders but didn't see the other as I tried to make my way out. Thank you for the help." Smiled Lorundil.

"Still we have a bear to hunt don't we?" Laughed Lorundil as he went to follow Lord Algen.

"Come on lad. We have time to check the stone circle before it starts to get dark and we head for the woodsman's hut."

Leaving the spiderling traps behind, you continue on through the trees and undergrowth. There are signs that the bear has been this way. Broken branches and hugh rends in the trees bark. By mid afternoon you reach a clearing. Several large stone obelisks have erupted from the ground.

Lorundil checked the surrounding area for the bear or some indication of what caused the stone obelisks to erect.

Lorundil searches the ground. Here and there fresh bear tracks can be seen. A low threatening growl causes him to freeze. Ahead in the undergrowth a large pile of fur stirs.
