While following the tracks Lorundil asks "How big is this bear? I ask because I like to know kind of foe I am fighting."

You both continue to follow the tracks for several hours. The woodland off the track is quite picturesque. Majestic oak trees and a few smaller pines provide a cooling shade, althought they are not dense enough to make the forest dark. Small animals can be seen skittering about, and the pleasant aroma of wild flowers fills the air.
"This is a perfect day for hunting" Lord Algen remarkes. He has a smile on his face, one of contentment.

"Lord Algen. I think I may have found a trap for an animal. Care to take a look?" Asked Lorundil.

There is a snap of broken twigs ahead of them. As they both look up in distance a creature stands. 7ft tall this revolting creature resembles a cross between a gangly human and a bloated spider. It has long, slender arms and legs protuding from a rounded fleshy body. It has a spiders head with a pair of bulbous black eyes. It begins to jump up and down, screeching and hissing in common speach "Flesh, flesh!"

"Lord Argel get to safety. NOW! I will handle this beast!" Spoke Lorundil as he drew out his bow and prepared to fire at the beast.

The arrow hits the creatures exposed shoulder and it screeches. There comes another screech from elsewhere in the forest.

"Fine but stay close and keep an eye out for more monsters. I have no interest in dying in a forest devoid of civilised life." Spoke Lorundil as he catches up to Lord Argel.
They both move on. Lord Algen grunts he approval.
