Lets dish, whos your favorite, least? Thoughts on different ones!

Favorite- Dorn, because he was perfect. Name a fault he has none.

Least- Lorgar and Cruze.

I actually felt bad for Fulgrim due to his entrapment/fall. No book has ever done that for me.

I'd have to say Magnus is my favourite, his storylines are amazing. He was to have it all even though he didn't ask for it, and he lost it because of an act of love.

Least Favourite would have to be Lion el'Johnson, his storylines just make him seem like a jealous looser

Least- Roburte girlyman (the original smurf) and the blood angel primarch that I can't spell(he was a mutant and they let him live and use his geneseed?!)

Good point, I completely forgot about Papa Smurf. I loved the Horus Heresy bit where they find Angron. They just kept sending people in until he stopped killing them

Favorite - Konrad Curze, he's got the most 'real' story to him. Most of the others are cookie cutters and ideals personified. He's got depth of character.

Least - Lorgar; Putz, end of story. Dorn is also on my shit list because he's well a little too rigid, by the book and boring.

I have never read any of Curze's stuff. However I have all the Astartes back story compendium things (Index Astartes?) so I will have to read up on them

i dont hate papa smurf and neither his legion, i hate the person that loves them very much(i will not say his unholy name) lest be honest guiliman try everything he could to help save the imperium, he help forge the imperium by writing the codex and making the administration that rule the imperium

Favourite: Sanguinius - obvious I know but it's always been this way, right from when I first read about the Heresy and the Primarchs. His nobility, his humility and his unflinching loyalty to the Emperor place him head and shoulders above the others for me - he knew his death would come at the hands (or rather Chaos given psychic powers) of Horus and yet he still faced him in defence of his Father and of Earth.

Least favourite: Lorgar or 'Papa Smurf' - Lorgar has been (probably) badly misrepresented as just a whiny little Daddy lover but until something is done to rectify this, then he's joint top of my list. Roboute Guillimann is IMO one of the least valuable of the Primarchs. His martial prowess is not comparable to any of the other 'top' Primarchs and his alleged tactical acumen is questionable at best, for his true skills lay in taking a planet and then ensuring compliance was maintained by clever use of iterators and being all touchy-feely with the populace. He was a fantastic clerk and administrator but a conqueror of the galaxy he was not and the whole Codex thing makes me hate him even more. Really wish Dorn hadn't backed down and would have loved to have seen him go toe-to-toe with Papa Smurf, he'd have knocked his over-inflated head clean off.
