I would definitely make the time and save the money for attending a convention, but personaly I could only attend one in England, and if it would be in the UK are we thinking of a Gamesday or maybe in Notingham at Warhammer World (AKA Games Workshop HQ)?

And I would donate if I was 18, but Im also already saving for a plan on buying a huge TV and a Xbox 720 next year.

I think it would be best to have one in the US and one in the UK this October/next year, but in the future we should try and have a combined one.

But then again, it's kind of bad because I have high school, but depending on the location and how long this convention is, I'd only have to take off a day or two. Like if it's in San Diego, I'd have no problems but I would have to take off a day or two if it was in say, New York.

Also, I would have a problem convincing my mother to actually go (and not just letting me go, but actually let me go by myself instead of bringing her along so that you can all scar her even worse than you have me), but my dad would be all for it and can probably talk her into it.

just to throw it out there if ya'll are serious - colorado is pretty much the middle of america so all us west coasters and east coasters can meet up evenly...

It seems this blasted into the limelight before we were ready, ah well.

We were debating the possibility of a UK convention around Xmas (since I should be in the UK then). The US one is unset because the US is so massive, thought it'd likely be a major airport city.

UK one we would likely pick some small town on a rail line. This would make it cheap and accessible to almost everyone in the UK, can just bunk with sleeping bags in a backpackers. We were thinking Paintball in your chapters teams, so instead of shooting each other virtually on a screen, you do it in real life.

This is all heavily theoretical right now.

Those events are expensive and inconveniently timed. A lot of people don't have time off around those.

Most companies close for a week or so across Xmas, making it convenient t do it then.
