Also you are called the Phoenixican for your revival of the Emperors Children after their Gene-Seed failure when the Emperors Children were first being created.
Also aren't all the Primarchs kind of Daemon Princes to begin with? The Emperor was kind of an idiot when it came to his sons so he kind of fucked himself over.

Loyalists will at the end of the day always be slaves to the Emperor, and frankly, I'm torn on how I feel about The Emperor's intentions. One the one hand, He defends mankind. On the other, He committed many unspeakable crimes (Thunder Warriors, 'nuff said) and his very continuing existence is at best morally questionable (1k innocent souls A DAY to keep his rotting carcass alive). Maybe I'm reading too deep into the backstory of a game, but if I were in the 40k universe, I could not in good conscience fight for Him.

You could say the Imperium is deluded into thinking all is fine and soon the day will come when all their fears, hates and enemies will die.
The way Curze's visions put it think best describes it.
"Agonising visions of a galaxy locked in a unending war where the alien, the mutant and the rebel arose to feast on the rotting carcass of the Imperium"
Page 24 The Lightning Tower/The Dark King
Curze from I have read/heard about him seems like a complete super awesome Primarch.
But Didn't the Emperor created all of the Primarchs for a reason. Why create Curze. He knew only the most cruel warfare. Psychological. Even if somehow you survived a war with the Night Lords the stain it would leave on your mind (Let alone any of the Astarte Legions) you would become so fearful of the Imperium. That is the way Curze wanted to keep order. Through complete fear.
Through this he kept his homeworld under control to no crime what so ever. When he left and no real uncorruptable force was left his homeworld fell back into its former self.
Now Curze just learnt that the Emperor who was to defend Nostromo from all enemies to the Imperium allowed corruption and crime to take control of his homeworld. If a company of Night Lords were left to control the world then they would be fine and Curze would be possibly Loyal to the Emperor. Possibly....
Still most of the Primarchs had conflicting views on warfare, what should happen to prisoners, civilians aboard the military expeditions and even who should be left in charge of the Imperium when the Emperor retired to look into old sciences, What should be allowed and what shouldn't be allowed in the Imperium and lots of other things.

If it was to say who was your favourite Onwall would have called it WHO is your FAVOURITE Primarch.
Curze is awesome but I still prefer Fulgrim.
I like Magnus. I like Horus. I like Ferrus. I like Dorn. All have the reasons why I like them.
So what if I want to say this is why Curze is one of the best/is the best. Isn't the point of this thread? At the end of the day I am saying this character is better than this one. It is all personal preference.
Even if I wasn't part of the Night Lords I would still think Curze is awesome. If I left the Night Lords I wouldn't start saying that Curze is now shit as I like what I have read about him not what group I am in.
I am pretty sure many people from the Dark Angels, Disciples of Caliban and Angels of Redemption all liked Lion El Johnson before they joined their chosen Chapter and might have liked what they read about him after joining.
For example
You could say Horus is the best as he rose to Warmaster and had the most conquests within the whole Imperium and then helped bring one of the greatest destructions to the Galaxy since the fall of the Eldar.
You could say Dorn is the best because he helped create the Imperial Palace that managed to hold back the forces of Chaos for a long time and defend the Palace with his Fists till the end.
You could say Ferrus is the best because he knew he would pretty much die against Fulgrim in a 1v1 but still went after him for the sake of their old friendship and the honour stolen from him when he was beaten upon his own Flagship.
You could say Magnus is the best because he tried everything within his power to warn the Emperor of the betrayal and only when it came to his last sons lives did he submit to Chaos.
If you want say why any of the Primarchs aren't the best then do so and we can debate why. All of the Primarchs had their flaws and their perfections.
If I wanted to I could say that Curze seemed to suffer from a duel personality so one that seeks justice and righteousness while the other had taken to Chaos.
So when the Assassin came to kill Curze he allowed the assassin (Still be determined if he allowed the Assassin but it is believed Curze allowed himself to die) to kill him as he had become the very thing he had set out to destroy.
We don't know as the recording cut out before we knew what happened actually happened.
This thread is just so people can debate one Primarch's reason to be the best and reasons why they shouldn't.
All I ask is that we keep it civil.

To be just, our law must be cruel.
To stand upon the bedrock of law is our great duty. To presume to stand above it is our worst heresy.
We determine the guilty. We decide the punishment.

Lion and Rawbutt Girlyman were both conveniently located on the other side of the galaxy when things kicked off, and the rest haven't really caught my attention, sadly.
