"well this looks safe" said Vladimir as he turned to walk around the lake no need to swim though water that is probably infested with something nasty

as you walk, the silence is eerie. Carts of old food vendors line the road, and a small barn can be seen.


you hear something, something breathing raggedly in the silence. its big, and a strong scent fills the air

Vladimir looks and carefully and walks slowly as he didn't want to anger whatever was living here in this ruined place of a market as he looked pasted the ruined vendors to find the source of the sound

It sleeps with its face nestled between its claws and as you near it. You can see a log enameled knife handle jutting from the beasts eye

Vladimir looks around and then back at the ghoul as he decided to keep moving since he didn't know how many more ghouls could be out here sleeping as he slowly moved away

Vladimir freezes for a moment as he then looks back

"so your awake then" said Vladimir as he turned slowly towards the ghoul

"and here I wanted to leave quietly and let you sleep" Vladimir then added as he stared at the ghoul as he waited for it to talk again as surprised it could take in the first place

" what are you looking for human...."

The beast growls, hauling its bulk forward and lifting himself into his clawed feet, dwarfing you by several feet

"I'm just passing though so you really don't have to worry about me" said Vladmir as he backed up slowly as he didn't want the ghoul to out right hit him if it was going to be aggressive

the patriarch sits up, its body cracking and popping.


"its only fun when they run boy.....sit and speak to me...Your kind doesnt come here refgularly....You come here for the myth too/"

"what myth are you talking about ghoul...I'm just a passing travel as I never heard a myth about this place" said Vladimir as he leaned up against the stall as he wanted to hear this ghouls tale

The patriarch cracks it's jaws.

" ill tell you anything you want... If you pull this fucking knife out of my eye."

"alright alright fairs fair" said Vladimir as he then reached over to grab the knife as he then said

"If you try to take my arm while I'm helping you I beat you to death with your own severed limbs so just sit still this will only hurt for a moment" Vladimir then added as he started to pull out the knife from the ghouls eye

The patriarch sighs happily its eye fluttering open.


" the sanctum supposedly has a cache of weapons of the old world.... Hidden by its overlord."

Vladimir listened for a moment and considered the ghouls words

"hidden weapons?....Overlord?" said Vladimir in a questioning tone as he looked at the ghoul curiously as he then asked

"and tell me how do you know all these things...do you even know that these places even exist" said Vladimir as he waited for the ghoul to answer

The massive ghoul laughs, it's fangs as long as your arm.

" becaus I listen to the hunters that fail when they become ghouls... The last one got so close."

"tch so you what you want to go on a suicide mission for entrainment I can say that's a new one coming from a ghoul like yourself...no offense" said Vladimir as he looked at the ghoul with a questioning look as he then asked

"so if you know where the vault is why don't you tell" as Vladimir waited for an answer
