If SM is shut down, it'd probably be timed for the release of an SM2 demo. Otherwise it would be a very bad call on their part. Screwing such a dedicated playerbase too many times is a very very bad call

While I am sure the undead masses would love a COD style 40K game, it would most definitely be another "Wardian Heresy" development. There isn't that many respected development houses left. My personal hope is that the company who made Killzone 2 and 3 would inherit the license.

EA isn't all bad. They were also responsible (to a degree) for Timesplitters, which is the best game ever.
Still, would be nice to see a decent 40K game rather than a re-skinned CoD clone.

Eventually, we should be seeing Space Marine two though, so we should still have somewhere to go, hopefully before the servers for Space Marine are shut down. A lot of chapters are also becoming muli-gaming chapters, so in the worst case scenario we can always move on to other games if we lose SM servers.

Same here Dustier, I'm just saying that in the worst case scenario we can always play Halo, Transformers, etc.
