Skive takes a moment to let his thoughts roam. He looks over the gathered rebels, to the Blacksmith, and lastly over the battlefield.

"I told you earlier. I don't care about labels, and what people think of me. Life is too short to do that... But this is not my fight. I'm just a wanderer that passed through, and decided to help out as a way of saying thanks.

You all fight for your own reason, and you have my respect for that. But none of your reasons are mine.. I helped you out in this battle, but now it is time for me to leave. I wish you all the best of luck in making your dreams come true.

And Caleb, if I ever get to Canada, I hope that you and your family will treat me to some dinner..."

The smith nods am turns from you, hefting his hammer.


Caleb gives you one last look before the gate opens and a loud roar fills the air.

You can now leave the sanctum. No ho siht force will stop you. You can hea to the wasteland, the neighboring Twinkie factory, and the industrial ruins.

"What?" Skive says surprised, not aware that there was anyone there.

YOu leave the sanctum just as the fight erupts into bloodshed. The sounds of the combat seem to follow you until you are on the lonely raods of the deadlands, following the sign that would lead you to washington dc.

When finally the sounds of battle died away, and the silence enveloped him, Skive could feel that spark of excitement that he felt when he started a new journey.

What would he find in DC? Would this Cain fellow know any answers? Would he make it there alive..?
All would be relvealed sooner or later.

As Skive started to stroll down the way, he began whistling a tune he didn't really know, or remember were he had heard it.

Days only seem to blur as you wander the wasteland. You move from squatter camp to squatter camp until, in the distance you see the Washington monument, jutting defiantly into the sky.

Skive moves on towards DC. First now he come to think about the details of the quest he had taken for himself. How would he ever find Cain in DC? How would he find anything in DC? He had never been there before. At lest, he didn't think so..

Taking a deep breath, he tries to calm the thoughts racing in his mind. One way or the other, it would work out. It always did.

As you draw closer you hear gunfire .

Men in white uniforms, bearig a knights Templar cross fight with a smal herd of ghouls.

Their weapons are odd, the gunfire is muffled and it seems to so more damage that normal weaponry

Skive whistles impressed at the weapons. But even if the guards had advanced weapons, he was not going to stand by and let them fight the undead by them selves.
Walking calmly against the herd, Skive started to charge his powers, getting ready to unleash it all as soon as one, or more of them, came close.

Firepower rips through the ghouls with practiced precision. The ghouls fall back as you come into range and a figure in ornate Headtaker body armor looks at you.


" state your buisness wanderer."

[Iron K]

"You know. Get some bed rest, a good food, and find that special somebody.." Skives says casually as he looks around at the carnage.

[Thugren]

thre leader, a man in an ornate bodysuit stops you.


"hold still so we can scan you.."

Another man in similar armor walks up toyou, moving a wand over your extremeties.

[Iron K]

"Find something interesting?" Skive says with a grin.

[Thugren]

One of the men nods.

" cryomancer... A weak one but a cryomancer none the less sir."

The leader looks from his subordinate than back to you.


" ohhhhh.... Now thi is intruiging."

[Iron K]

"Well it's always fun meeting people that's interested in you. But intriguing? I don't really know how to feel about that.. Hey, what do you mean with "weak"?!"

Your hands and quickly cuffed and you are shoved against a statue roughly as you are patted down.

" weak... The dictionary definition meaning not strong or diluted. "

An iron ring is placed around your neck and you are guided into an armored vehicle.
