you feel a searing pain as three bolts take you through the leg, and you feel it burn badly. You have no option but to turn and flee, and fully do so, darting into that shadows and then working your way back to the makeshift base.

+inquisitor i have failed im my mission and he has managed to reach his escape ship without being killed or me marking his drop ship one of his body guards intercepted my blow+ Issac sits patching the wounds on his leg up while relaying this information to the inquisitor.

+This is most disappointing Issac, I had thought that your skills better suited this mission. Now that target knows that he has been targeted, he is likely to be protected by the mechanicus, and that may work against us. Return to these co ordinates (mind flashes them to you) and we will extract you before we go after him again+

+ coordinates confirmed heading there now + Issac heads to the coordinates via the sewers and vents.

when you arrive, there is a small, stealthed dropship awaiting you.

Issac sits in the seat and fastens the harness and awaits his return to the inquisitors ship replaying the mission over in his head and where he went wrong and where he will improve next mission.

[Warmonger]

When you are on the ship, you find the darkest and most deserted corridor to sit and think through everything that went wrong with that mission. You think about the disgrace you have caused the temple, and the shame that your brother assassins must be feeling.

Out of the darkness a man approaches. He creeps silently towards you before whispering in the smallest of voices "It hurts, doesn't it? To be left in shade and darkness of shame, outcast from His light!" the last part is verbally spat out, and you can hear the hatred in his voice.

"What if there was... a way out? a way in which you can rule your missions, and by extension the subjects of this galaxy?"

Issac tilts his head like a predator regarding it prey "explain your meaning little man" he growls

[Warmonger]

"I mean, there is more than one super power at work in this galaxy, and sometimes you have to ask yourself whether you are working for the right one. Some powers have had their time, and very soon it will be the time for the powers which I serve." He pauses and then grins "And personally, I'd rather be on the right side when it is, because otherwise there'll be a whole lot of pain and suffering to look forward to"

" so why come and tell me about it what do i have to offer these other powers that be?"

[Warmonger]

"Your allegience, unwavering..." The man smiles, "so what do you say, are you ready to show the galaxy what true power is?" he holds out a hand towards you

Isaac grasps the man hand "true power" are the only words he utters to the man

"Good" The man laughs, which fills your soul with both dread and bliss "You have chosen the correct path my friend, They will be in touch..." he walks into the shadows and disappears

Issac stands and heads to his chambers aboard the ship Staring into the void waiting patiently

[Warmonger]

The inquisitor enters, and looks deeply at you before speaking
"Look Isaac, I don't want this mission to have affected you at all, we underestimated the opposition, and that has no reflection on your combat ability or the honour of your temple. We have located geddik on the nothern continent of the planet, in a secure mechanicus facility, if you still want to finish this?"

Issac looks up from his contemplation " thank you for your kind words inquisitor and yes i wish to go and finish this I hate having a loose end like geddik and i certainly wont underestimate him again"

[Warmonger]

"then you must depart at once, there is a shuttle waiting to drop you on the outskirts of where the facility is located. Be wary though, because this is no urban jungle in which you can hide, more over there are dark powers at play here, and they can corrupt anything they reach out to"

and with that he leaves you alone once more

Issac smiles behind his mask and stands collecting his gear together including the melta charge he requisitioned and heads to the shuttle bay to the awaiting shuttle, boarding he looks at the pilot "ready when you are" he says while fastening his grav harness

[Warmonger]

The shuttle launches out of the bay, and you are hurled further back into your seat as the pilot executes maximum speed descent back onto the planet. After mere seconds of being shaken about however, the shuttle breaks through the atmosphere, and before you know it, your boots are in the soft dead soil of the badlands surrounding some of the smaller continents on the planet. Your target locator tells you that the facility is three klicks north
