"shit shit shit" eli whispers and tries to regain his breath. He reasons with himself to head back to where he came from, anything undead would have moved on by now... he hopes

As you head back you hear the forest rustling and the undead surround you.

The three freshly turned ghouls hiss menacingly , surrounding you

Eli spins, pulling the trigger on his flamethrower, attempting to immolate the area around him.

The ghoul lunges and latche it's jaws on your arm biting down until you hear the grinding of metal on your arm

The other ghouls hiss and spit but remain still

"FUUUUUUUUUCK" Eli screams as he feels the pain shooting through his arm. This is bad, very bad. He tries to position the flamethrower below the ghoul, and fires another blast

The flame engulfs the ghoul and it falls to the floor dead as the remaining ghouls lunge at their partner barking and spitting in hunger

Within minutes the flame has cooked the ghouls down to their molten ashes and silence falls over the area

Eli crouches over and is sick onto the ground, as the full fury of the events recently hits his mind. He has lost many good comrades, and is now alone in a wasteland.

He tries to remember where the closest form of outpost was, or whether there is another sanctuary nearby...
