THe undead swarm the walls of the sanctum as the keepers hold the line. BOdies of the sanctums citzens lay ravanged in heaps as the undead feast hungrily.

Sanders, yiur commander stumbles up to you , his arm a bloodied stump

"eli! Fall back! The sactum is falling its over!"

[Warmonger]

"It's only over when the undead finally claim me," Eli says back calmly "perhaps we should make another attempt to push them back? Ask them nicely perhaps?" He pats his revolver to make it clear what he meant.
"on another note, have you been bitten?" he asks

Sanders cauterizes his wound in the flame of his flavethrower

I'm not asking you Eli, I'm telling you, the undead are beginning to swarm and the dead are turning get to the evac zone

A second keeper, you know him as sain, formers Sargent of scar battalion moves up beside you

Come on Eli lets move sanders and his unit are buying us time

"as you wish," eli replies "I just hate losing ground to these dammned things" he follows the rest towards the evac zone.

As you flee the walls of the sanctum begin to crumble and sanders and a handful of keepers await the tide of the dead

Sain leads you to the apc and shoves you inside as the last keeper stumbles in and the doors close

"It shows that the undead are gaining ground," Eli speaks in a hollow voice "perhaps they are being driven by an insatiable hunger for flesh, who knows." he looks glumly around at the surviving keepers, noting where he misses a face. This is going to be a painful night to forget

Suddenly your apc grinds to a halt and the growls and snarls of the undead surround you

Through the eye slits you can see. Pack of undead are clambering over the apc, using their bodies to hinder the apps movement.

Sain sighs and ignites his buners

Well brothers if we are going to die today let's die well

He turns to you and nods

Light up and lets make our stand

You look down at your wrist and at your trusty keeper flamethrower

"man I hate undead," eli groans has he ignites the nozzle for his flamer "never just die do they? Always moanin' and groanin' about how hard their lives are, they've never had to wash the smell of charred gribblies out of their clothes. Anyhow I'm ready when you are boss" he nods and waits for the hatch to open.

The hatch falls open and the undead swarm in. But something's different. These undead are swift and powerful, with claws that easily shred into the keepers Kevlar vests, evicerating the flesh underneath.

Sain grunts a he lets his burners wash the inside of the apc in flame driving them back


Fuking flayers ! Eli! Eli lend me some heat!

"flame on!" eli shouts as he unleashes the full fury of his flamer towards to foremost flayers.

Saun sits behind the wheel as the cargo grinds shut, slicing a flayer in half

"Aw shit" Eli screams, "Burn you mothers!" and unleashes a gout from the flamethrower

"chill man," eli says quietly "maybe it's just stalled? The more we shout and scream, the more undead that will know where we are. Let's keep cool and try to get this apc running again?"

"just be quiet, and don't panic" eli whispers " i'll take a quick look around and see what i can see"

With that he moves of into the surroundings

The woods are dark and nothing dares to make a sound

In the distance you can see the sanctuary

In the middle a defiant flame flickers as your commander a his keepers make their last stand

"and so did the world end in a blaze of fire and flesh, and did the undead rule once more" eli lamented " he casts his gaze around the woods, looking for broken branches or anything that would show that the undead passed this way.
