[Thugren]

The forest is ravaged, the undea attacked through this path and you can see that some undead are even laying amidt the rubble, their bodies broken by the insane rush of the horde full on bloodlust.

Sain sighs in exhasperation
We're walking eli

[Warmonger]

"aw but these boots are new, they'll give me sores!" eli complains "plus last time we hoofed it through undead-trampled land, i found an undead finger in between the grooves of my sole plate." he takes one last long look at the final stand before turning and beginning the long walk back

[Thugren]

The walk is quiet and sain hardly speaks

A heavy rain begins to pour and finally he sighs

I can't believe the commanders dead... That we got overrun.. Ho siht fucking abandonded us.. They are suppose to help

[Warmonger]

"Supposed to doesn't mean that they always will. Cowardly bastard" Eli spits in the rain "The commander was a good man, but he knew the risks of the job better than any of us. God rest"

[Warmonger]

Eli looks around at his surviving comrades. "guys, we need to get somewhere safe, or at least find shelter. I needn't tell you what a bad decision it would be to be out in the open in the daylight when the horde returns.

There's an outpost a little ways north it's a rough jog but we can make it if your up to it eli

"anything's better than this shithole. Let's go for it"

The trip is hard, and brutal. The undead migration has taken a toll on the areas surrounding forests and you can see miles of devastation.

After a short bit you find a cabin, sain leads the way inside and bars the door, slumping tiredly on the floor.

"we need....to rest."

[Warmonger]

"Agreed, shall I take first watch then?" Eli pants. He is tired, but he'll watch out for a squadmate any day.

[Thugren]

Sain shakes his head

" sleep man... Sleep and ill try and get in touch with command."

[Warmonger]

"okay then, wake me when you can't stay awake" and settles against a wall, keeping one eye open to danger.

[Thugren]

Your dreams are haunted by the undead. Dreams of the battle are viid and fresh in your mind and you wak up with a scream.

The smell of blood.. Fresh blood is in the air... And you can hear a slight crunching every few seconds

[Warmonger]

"Shit, what's going on?" ELi hisses, he reaches for his flamethrower, where he left it nearby and glances around at the same time, looking for threats

You move slowly and nothing dates to make a sound.

The smell gets strong a you e yet the cabins small kitchen and your stomach lurches.

Sain lays on the floor, his throat ripped open viciously. A freshly turned ghoul rips at the downe keeper and it doesn't seem to notice you.

[Warmonger]

"in mortis est gloriam" Eli whispers "truly I am sorry friend"

He unleahes a gout of flame to consume the ghoul and it's victim

The ghoul is consumed by flame as dies instantly.

Moans of the undead can be heard from the cellar . A you look around you can see the door had been chained and said must have gotten curious while you slept



From your own perception you can hear four separate moans.. The stairs creak as the beasts begin to lumber up the steps

"ah shit," Eli curses, and then bolts through the doors back out of the building. He runs in what he assumes is the right direction

you run and the ghouls burst out of the door after you. Halfway into the forest the ghouls begin to stumble over themselves, their heavily atrophied limbs giving out from the sudden strain and you managed to escape.


the forest is dark and ominious, you can risk coming back from where you came or go deeper int o the woods
