A Plasma Cannon dreadnought isn't very Raven-Guardy. Might swap skin just to stay fluffy. Probably means running a Dark Angel skin because they like Plasma weapons

I'm personally not too sure about the DLC, yeah it would be great to walk around in a dreadnought suit insta-gibbing people but then how rarely would you be able to use the dreadnought yourself?

I cant help but think they should press on with more important things (in my opinion) like the glitchiness of the online play. Maybe even release some new weapons, power fists for assault marines, multi meltas for devastators and flamers or even combi weapons for tactical marines

opinions?

The DLC seems silly because there is only ever one dreadnought on the field at any one time which make it a big target. I can see the allure and it will be a struggle but I don't think I would want to drive the Dreadnought myself.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and it's unreliable. I've now downloaded, deleted, and redownloaded Dreadnaught Assault 4 times without it ever acknowledging I have it. I'd like my Microsoft points back.

According to the system when I go to delete it it is 307MB, and the download being 306.48MB tells me that it's all there.

In actually playing this, the Dreadnaught is a force to be reckoned with. I find the actual game play of the Dreadnaught Assault is incredibly skill free and repetitive though. Since it's a matter of piling on; first the dreadnaught point, then the dreadnaught itself whether defending it or trying to kill it.

As an aside though in playing around with the mode with fellow Night Lords I've thought of a way to use this competitively that changes the style. Instead of adhering to the capture point method the game play puts into effect. Create uneven teams, say... 8v3. Allow the 3 to get the Dreadnaught, and then time how long it takes for the team to take it down. Submit times competitively and vie for the fastest times in bringing down the Dreadnaught's team.

Just a thought, since I feel the standard is just meh.
