Thessa smirks, her voice dropping to a whisper in his ear. "You know, Buran, there is one thing they don't train you for. Torture changes a person." In one hard stroke she sliced the blade deep into his neck. With a mighty pull she lifted his body and kicked him in the back towards Josef. She rushed after the body, fainting to attack left, but dodging back and coming at Hural with a strong upwards slash.

Thessa lands hard, the trash from the can tumbling on top of her. She shoves it off and stands up, pointing her sword at Odin. "You're involved too, not a scratch on you, just like the others. What do you know?" her voice is harsh and her eyes glare at him.

Thessa lowers her sword and turns to Horus. "I apologize, sir. I'm sorry, Odin. You knew, meaning you had a plan to deal with it. My distaste of...traitors...I felt it needed to be dealt with." She turns to Odin.

He turns from the group and begins to walk away into the winding streets of the town.

Thessa runs after Horus, stepping in front of him. "Sir, with all due respect they're right. You don't know how many will be there and you were torn up enough after the last fight. Let at least one of us come with you." She stood tall in front of her commander, showing him she still had fight in her.

She paused and looked thoughtful for a moment. "We were friends before I was captured, weren't we? I don't remember."

He says quietly, ducking towards a derelict building and pushing his hand agasint the door finding it locked.

She moved up next to the door, flattening her back to the wall. She looked at him with a small smile. "I can infer a lot from 'more than that'. I can guess that you weren't just sent to retrieve me for no reason. You volunteered?" She paused, listening for any sounds that would alert her to someone or something nearby.
