Magron raises his claws and sends a wave of fire at the xeno. "Where there's smoke (flame burst) there's me." He calls over the vox. "I'll cover our six. Might need a bolter shooting over here too."

[Gerhart]

With fire blazing around him,'Brother Magron do not waste your fire, it is useless at this range wait until they close. Brothers focus fire, on the same targets.' Thadios links to Brother Thrax and begins firing bolter rounds at the closest threats. 'Ivanov, can you move this shielding with us? We must not get bogged down, we must move forward. Can you tell if the hive minds leader is close?' Thadios says as he continues to fire controlled bursts at the xenos.'Copula, how far till the engine room? We must get power back on, surely it would awaken some sort of defenses?'

"Will do Thadios." Magron holds his fire until the xenos come into range.

Varian takes several carefully aimed shots at the genestealers heads hoping that the shield will buy them the time necessary to do so.

Straining with concentration " Lead.....the way.....I.....will......hold the shield........for......as long......as......I am able"

Ivanov focus's on binding new warp strands to the front whilst renewing the strands inside at the rear as the outside dissapates. This, carrying the dome about them, with him at the centre as he moves forward.

'Very good Brother. Copula, which way?' Thadios continues to fire at the closest enemies.'Brothers, keep them off the shield! In HIS NAME!'

Ivanov's shield shimmers and seems to slow the hoard, but does not stop them as genestealers force their way pass the barrier at the Marines within. Varian's shots find marks blasting two genestealer's heads to pulped mush, but his other shots do not appear to find purchase.

At Thadios' word the kill-team moves forward struggling to advance amidst the throng of ravening Xenos as they force their way closer through Ivanov's barrier. Thrax's heavy flamer unleashes promethium death upon the horde, but even the great gouts of flame cannot be everywhere and the horde closes in.

Two genestealers rush Thadios, and his bolter rounds cut them down, the second falling a mere two meters from his feet, and it is evident that there are more behind him.

At the rear Magron retreats ready to unleash his fire, with Copula covering him. a handful of genestealers charge past the barrier and at the Marines. Magron's flamers open up, burning two of them. One leaps over the flames claws poised for the kill, when its head blasts into pieces. Several more rush in and get cut down by Copula's bolt pistol.

"I think we have to run for it. The doors at the far end should be able to be sealed even with the main power down." Copula calls out.

[Gerhart]

His senses heightened, happy to finally come to blows with the enemy.'Agreed Copula, Ivanov on my word drop the shield. Thrax clear our path forward with your flammer, Varian cover him. Magron, Copula assist Ivanov. I will cover our rear.' He says with cold determination whipping around to face the xenos behind him. He wields the bolter in his shielded left hand, and unsheathing his Sealance in the other. Firing shots at the xenos as he faces them. Thadios has his sealance pulled in close ready to deliver lethal thrusts should they get close enough.

[Apulo]

Thrax advances slowly clearing a path with his flamer, picking off other xenos with his bolter when they present an opportunity.

Varian takes his plasma pistol in his shielded hand and unsheathes his powersword with the other. He follows closely behind Thrax waiting to strike at any xenos that manages to bypass his flamer.

Magron shifts closer to Ivanov to provide cover and assistance. "Ready when you are Brother." Magron continues to pour out flame upon the Xenos horde. Making percisition strikes with his claws when any Genestealers get into range.

"Ready yourselves Brothers!"
Ivanov drops the shield happy that at least it bought them a little thinking time. Then searching for the nearest Xenos, tracks, targets then fires his Cannon whilst readying his Force blade.

[Domine Nox]

The shield drops and the tide rushes forward. Following Thadios' orders Thrax makes for the door with Varian providing covering fire, with Ivanov, Magron and Copula working as a second team.

Thadios is immediately rushed by several genestealers. He fires wounding one before the close in. His shield moves furiously to keep his attackers at bay. The razor sharp claws and fangs batter into the combat shield, and Thadios is forced entirely on the defensive to keep the churning mass of claws at bay.

Thrax begins moving forward laying down fire. The genestealers seem to move out and around the gout of flame as Thrax presses forward. Varian manages to pick off a few genestealers as they circumvent the flames, but then the xenos rush in from the sides. Thrax manages to snag one struggling genestealer in his servo arm, crushing the life out of it. Another rushes in missing with its claws knocking Thrax to the ground. Varian picks off another as more leap at Thrax. The first strikes slash into his armor, but don't pierce the well forged ceramite.

Magron only gets a single genestealer with his flamers before he is forced to rely on his lightning claws as the horde advance. He manages to take two down before a genestealer claw slices deep into his armor, causing sharp pain. The attacker is struck down by Ivanov's forceblade, the xenos blasting to pieces. His psycannon fires off two more shots taking out two more genestealers.

Copula fires off a couple shots taking out two of the genestealers attacking Thadios. Rushing over to Thrax he shoulders the attacking genestealer off of the techmarine, maglocking his pistol and drawing the powersword.

"Thadios I can help you hold the rear, we need to leave now." Copula calls out, slashing down two more genestealers.

[Gerhart]

His shield a whirl of motion,'Agreed, we should have been moving.' Thadios replies through gritted teeth. Still looking for any openings as he makes a fighting retreat to the bay doors. 'Enough of this, carve a path through them. Thrax divide them upfront with righteous flames. Ivanov, Varian keep him on his feet. Copula cover Magron while he seals his armor, then both of you cover me during our retreat.' Thadios says cold determination in his voice.

[Apulo]

Thrax swings his hammer at the closest genestealers and fires at others with his plasma cutter as he tries to pick himself up off the ground and head for the door.

"I must say Brother Thadios, dropping that shield may have been a tactical error."

Magron calls out to his brothers. "I need cover while I seal my suit."

[Apulo]

Thrax dashes forward toward the door so that most of the mass of genestealers is behind him. He then turns and uses his Signum to get the best shots on the genestealers that are most threatening to his Brothers and the Librarian. Using controlled bolter and plasma cutter bursts, he tries to clear a path to the door.

It's not as simple as suit do this. He is applying repair cement. It is a simple process, but it is still a process. Magron is making sure he doesn't get skewered when he does it. Decompression is still a very serious condition.

Varian rushes forward with Thrax, stopping only a moment at a time to cut down a xenos or fire off a few shots from his plasma pistol.

Ivanov moves over to Thrax using his canon as cover fire and grabs Thrax in order to help, stable him up on his feet. Seeing the revenouse hunger in the xenos thinking the downed marine as easy pray the shoulders inbetween the hoard and Thrax to give him a little more time. He unleashes a burst of telekine power infront on him aimed low at their legs in order to trip at many as he can and swing a wide arch hoping the invisable force was enough to distract them, if only for a short time.

"The flancs are the most enforced push forward before they can totaly close off the route"

Again he begins to draw in the threads of warp and store them in his blade.

"I will shield us again at the door giving us time to close and seal it!"
