Thinking about how the team had made their way down,'Understood, lets go Brothers. Be ready, when we deploy out fan out focus fire on targets, lets bring them down before they can get in close. Magron if they get close be ready with fire.' Thadios then awaits the lift.

"Brothers, we have readings on Auspex BEHIND US."

Thrax turns and levels his bolter down the corridor steadying his aim with a servo arm.

Magron turns as well and aims both Claws down the hallway. "Any idea what it could be?"

[Apulo]

Thrax raises his heavy flamer over his left shoulder aiming it down the hallway also.

"I'm not sure Brother but whatever it is, it won't be for long."

[Zero]

Varian readies his Bolter and takes aim down the hallway.

Magron speaks to Thadios. "Bathe it in flame?"

[Zero]

Varian sees something that doesn't quite blend into its surroundings. "Brothers! Look there!" He says. Not willing to take any chances he fires a burst of bolter fire into the camouflaged shape.

[Gerhart]

Striding beside Brother Varian,'Brother what do you see? or do we fire at shadows? I see nothing...' Thadios lets his voice trail, cycling through his helmets sensors to find something that works.

'Is the lift on its way yet?' Thadios adds to no one in particular.

[Domine Nox]

Varian's rounds slam into the wall, appearing to meet no resistance along their trajectory.

"The lift should be here momentarily." Copula says turning to try and peer down the hall and see what Varian saw. He brings his weapon to bear, but fires no shots.

[Zero]

"I don't know what it was, but I don't like it." Says Varian grimly as he waits to board the lift.

"Thadios, shall Brother Thrax and I be the last on the lift?" Magron asks. Keeping his claws pointed down the hall.

[Apulo]

"There was something there Brother, I saw it too. It darted back into the shadows and off Auspex. Whatever is out there is showing some cunning. It seems to know Auspex range and is dancing back and forth within it."

'Correct we will make the xenos come to us. I will not chase after shadows.' Thadios says with a growl.

[Domine Nox]

As they talk the lift door slides open with a quiet hum. The inside is spacious and by all appearances in normal working order.

"The lift is here." Copula announces to the others.

[Gerhart]

Thadios turns towards the lift,'Let us be off then, remember deployment upon exit.' Thadios says calmly.

[Talon Lord Othrim]

Enters the lift.
"Hum..... anyone else feel like canned rations!?"

[Apulo]

Thrax slowly backs in to the elevator keeping his Bolter and Flamer focused down the hallway.

Magron mimics Thrax. Backing up and keeping both Claws ready. He pulls in his Claws enough for the doors to close when everyone enters.

Varian slowly enters into the lift while keeping his bolter at the ready.

[Domine Nox]

The lift rumbles as it slowly decends, the lights flicker ever so slightly. After a moment the doors open and all the air rushes out of the lift in a great rush into the hallway. Before the Kill-team's eyes everything is frosted over and suspended in air. The hallway branches left and right from the lift entrance.

To the left the hallway proceeds relatively intact with only a few bits of debris within it. To the right the hall is completely gone for roughly 50m, exposed to the nebula and open space before resuming. The corridor turns shortly after it resumes. Copula steps out letting his mag boots silently engage.

"I think the left is our safest bet."
