[Prosperan Son]

The blood drenched Monster reared up on it's four back legs, roaring furiously at Ariok as he approached, sending ichor and spittle flying through the air to stain his armor. The Great Wyrm charge right at him, the ground trembling beneath.

However as they crossed one another, Ariok's blade managed to cut through two of the Beast left legs, sending it sliding into the ground.

Ariok looked behind him as the beast fell, with the power of chaos flowing through him he smiled like he always did when the warp mingled with his mind. He turned around and walked towards the monster laughing manically, knowing the monster was still a threat he decided to end the battle quickly he drew upon his sword once more, feeling the daemon writhe within the blade as he stalked behind the creatures head he slammed the blade down aiming for the neck

The beast roared out in defiance as Ariok approached it. Thrashing violently and spasmodically, Blood and Ichor splashed in all directions, spraying from it's legs.

It's defiance ceased instantly, as Ariok's blade cut through it's throat and spine, rendering the beast inert and lifeless. The monster's dying breathe left it's maw with a wheeze.

Ariok withdrew the blade from the wound and watched as the blood was absorbed by the essence dwelling inside it. He opened the vox once more to his forces "warriors reform and march again for the tunnel the beast that delayed us has fallen to my hands let its corpse be a testament to my power" Ariok jumped down off the dead creature and walked towards its maw and yanked a tooth from it as a trophy.

The great beast body spasmed one last time before going limp. With that the War host moved on once more, regaining some semblance for their former cohesion. Everyone was weary now, shining lights at the walls and cavern ceiling more so then before.

Ariok moved with his war host with the same caution as his warriors. He was eager to get to the other side of the tunnel and wreak havoc upon the loyalist fools. He opened a vox linked with Malborgia although he doubted it would connect this deep.

"Malborgia if you can hear this i have dealt with the creature making the tunnel a non viable acsess point i recommend sending your forces through once we have confirmed where the exit leads"

"Creature?" The Dark Ones voice rrung in Ariok's head, as though Malbogua was right behind him, whispering into his ear. " You make it sound as though there was only one of them" As if in direct response, another roar was heard from behind the group, followed bt another and another. So there was more of them, although it appeared thwy were some distance off.

Ariok curses Malborgia and opens the vox again to his forces secure the entrance and stay there, Marcus prepare the Cabal I will use the Gods favor to gain a foot hold in this blasted campaign" Ariok then turned to run for the entrance knowing hundreds of bolters and lascannons await anything that pursues him.
