[Prosperan Son]

The Captain followed him behind, the retinue marching once more to escort him back to the confines of his vessel.

"I can presume your meeting went well, honored lord?" The Captain asked, it was obvious that he already knew.

[Lord Ariok]

Ariok turned to the captain "yes mortal it did go well providing your lord keeps his word, my warriors will mobilize within the hour and then we will deploy" Ariok then turned back and walked into his transport when he sat in the vessel he smiled and turned to the pilot "com my ships captain have the 'blessings of damnation ready for war all guns ready and every warrior assembled"

An hour later, Ariok is aboard his own ship once more. Word has spread quickly of what their next mission is. Ariok has called a meeting to discuss the upcoming operation with his officers, the information from Malbogia finally transferred over.

[Lord Ariok]

Ariok pulled up a hololithic image of the planet they were going to attack "Warriors our operation is simple to "help" the Dark saint by pushing through the enemy defences and leaving nought but ash in our wake" Ariok then punches in sime co-ordinates and the image zooms in "this is where our forces will deploy behind our so called allies lines until we can get a read on how strong the defence line is then we will muster for our attack understood?" Arioks voice quivered now with exitment and his fist began to shake.

The coordinates show a massive hive-city, built against the side of a large mountain. The city was beset by war on all sides, images of imperial soldiers firing down upon the chaos troops, artillery shells smashing against a void shield or tearing apart fortifications. Chaotic troops struggling to climb the walls. It was a hive war. Pure and simple.

"And what is the prize my lord?" One of your subordinates spoke up, asking the question that was on everyones mind.

Ariok met the officers glance "the prize is a powerful chaos artefact that tis warband can make great use of it holds the power of imortality and Daemonhood and when we have victory all the spoils that hive contains will be up for grabs" Ariok rested his hands on his writhing weapon "be sure not to fail me you are my 'Herelds of Darkness' the best of the warband If you fail i will wish upon you eternal suffering in the warp .... leave me" Ariok then returned his gaze to the hololithic image devising the best plan of attack as his officers left one by one

"Yes, M'lord." All of those attended saluted with a bow. They all filed out of the room, save for the crewman required to operate the ships systems. The cities defenses are formidable, every angle seemed to be covered and manned appropiately, however upon digging deeper a network of tunnels and mines could be seen from within the mountain that the city was connected. A possible solution.

Ariok pondered if the new entrance he found was layered with bombs as a lure for the already fighting chaos forces but he knew the seige will be over if he managed to come out into the hive city via these tunnels "Its to obvious but i will try it after all i have a large number of fanatical cultist willing to fight for me they will go first" Ariok then opened a com link to his second 'Marcus' "Marcus i want all forces prepared to drop i am sending you co-ordinates tthat lead to a tunnel network have the cultists go through it the rest of us will drop behind Malborgias warband" he then exited the hololithic room and made way towards the flight deck

"Of course M'lord." Marcus complied immediately. The com-link was silent for only a few seconds before Marcus spoke again. " Preparations are underway and we'll be ready to deploy in the next hour."

[Lord Ariok]

Ariok did notrespond he was alread making his way towards the flight deck it took a few moments to navigate the levels but Ariok walked throuh the flight decks doors and saw hundreds of chaos marines and hundreds of cultists makng final preperations for their drop into battle. Ariok began to adress his warriors "warriors hear me, We are about to drop on another pathetic word belonging to this wreched galaxy this conquest however will be as feirce and devestating as the last the only diffrence is we have chaos 'Allies' here we are to assist them inbreaking the imperial lap dogs and claiming this world for the Gods remember Kill the weak, maim the sick and burn the foolish now fill your hearts with rage and hatred to your positions we will drop in fiveteen miunites" Ariok walked towards Marcus giving him a gesture to follow him to his transport

Marcus followed behind in suit. Keeping within three foots pace away from his lord and master. He had followed the lord since his induction into the warband, and would so even if it took them to hell and back.

As they boarded their thunderhawk, Marcus sat across from Ariok" Do you think we can expect enemy astartes,my lord?" He questioned.

[Lord Ariok]

Ariok smiled at his lieutenant "I have not spotted any imperial vessels that can host a space marine company but I am expecting our misguided brothers to be at the forefront of the battle with our allies that is why I am sending my cultists into the hidden passage They might have trapped it" Ariok then waited a few moments before he closed his eyes and drew all his attention to the Gods who own his soul.

"As can be expected, this dark saint though..what do you make of him?" Marcus continued, trying to gather as much of his master's thoughts on the situation that he could.

[Lord Ariok]

Ariok reopened his eyes "i think he will betray us at the first oppertunity but if i am destined for Godhood then we will prevail through this conqest. besides if we manage to get into the sectret entrance i think he will have to keep his word becase we should have cotrole of the defence turrets by then" Ariok smirked and his hands began to shake with the exiliration of war rushing through his blood.

"And once you reach Godhood, you will reward those who have followed you my lord?" Marcus asked eagerly, the need for power evident in his eyes.

[Lord Ariok]

Ariok smiled at his long time servant "Marcus you know i reward those who have proven themselfs and there are many but you have proven your self to be my most worthy champion. Yes Marcus you will have power beyond your imaganing and the hordes of chaos to back that power. when i achive Godhood you shall bear my mark into combat and set alight any world that denies me" Ariok then thought to the dream he had the vision of his ascension the mere thought gave him a sense destiny like this was the path he was chosen to take and that the Gods see him as an equal.

"Then let us be done with this campaign as soon as possible, and claim glory in yours and the Dark Gods names!" Marcus grinned, his lust for power rising to the fore at the thought of becoming his lords champion.

[Lord Ariok]

Ariok nodded "this campagn will be difficult but the rewards will be great this warband will pass into legend think of the tale a Lord ahed a warband becomes the next Dark God of the warp oh the infamy and respect we will demand" Ariok licked his lips his battle lust and power hunger mixing inside of his mind forming an inhuman constitution ready to be released when the ship doors wind down.

"My lord, Do you think that there are Astartes amongst the Imperials?" Marcus asked the question that had been lingering on all of the warriors' mind. All of them, Marcus included, enjoyed the slaughtering and torture of Imperials, but of all things, there was nothing that pleasured them more then bringing death towards their loyalist counterparts, the Adeptus Astartes.

Ariok stared at his warriors "i do not doubt they will be their but they are the least of our problems we have a hive city to obliterate and if we do come across our loyalist brothers we will engage them with fire in our hearts" Ariok smiles and then begins laughing as they grow ever closer to the battle feild "Marcus you have your orders stray from our objective and i will call the warp to devour you with no chance of redemption"
