yea i expect to have fun because i do love mmo's but i can't afford defiance yet so this will have to do, and with the modifications they made to freemium they have made it much easier for us less fortunate people to play
Kite asked me back onto it, so I re-DL'd it and installed. The freemium changes were so horrid I immediately shut it off.... pay to hide helmet?! Bugger off!

The best part of this game though was the leveling and story. The storytelling, cinematics and singleplayer aspects of the game were absolutely amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed playing through the storyline for the sith inquisitor. Even paying for this game, I would say I was satisfied for the amount I paid for this and the time played. However, I wouldn't say its worth paying for more than a couple months (i'm not sure what the f2p aspects of the game are, but ive read its lacking many features).
If you're looking for a great single player game with some MMO added, then this is the way to go. Other than that, it gets lackluster and stale pretty quickly. One more thing I want to mention is that I think the class design and class abilities were pretty cool and a change of pace for when it came out, which is a positive for the game as well.
Check out the app called Verge I Created: http://goo.gl/OFW1yl. It's only for android now, but will be out for iPhone in the near future!
It essentially allows you to share your location with your friends, family, coworkers, etc through a group in the app. You can find everyone in your group's location by pressing a button (assuming they respond to the request), and plot it on a map. From there you are given a point that is equidistant from everyone. With this you can find a place to search for and meet up and send this location to everyone in your group telling them thats where you want to meet. There's no need to enter any addresses, and all you need to do is click a few buttons.

Freemium limits PVP time, PVP gear and prevents from doing raids. So the already limited endgame is further nerfed.
Treat it as a single player game with optional MMO content

Paladin Xenos, if you're still leveling up you're in a great part of the game. The leveling aspect of the game along with the story and such is excellent. They really did this really well (and i especially enjoyed the massive amount of voice acting used for the characters you encounter). Repeatable group quests, dungeons, etc. made it a lot of fun even in a group while leveling. PvP is even fun for a bit but it gets pretty stale quickly (unless they have added more warzones and stuff since when I played which was the first month of release).
It is good that you are still able to have fun with the game though.
