Ok so a ton of you guys are wondering how my day went so here i go:
I walked from my car to the end of the lot and looked over, to see none other than lindsey doing a lindseytime skit in front of the building, dressed as Phelba doing a dance, i froze lol so you will probs see me on youtube as the frozen guy in the parking lot watching haha. Anyway then i walked along the river for a bit, i came back up to meet my sister who was gonna film me, we stood in line at the vip entrance. I said hi to Whitney, and go my passes then she told me i could play, so i got my violin and proceeded to play, it was cold lol the strings were like ice sickles haha.
People clapped after each one, some filmed me, but then all at once....literally everyone started to cheer and clap, i had no idea why...until low and behold....i looked to the left , something in me just made me look automatically to the left, and 4-5 feet away from me, is Lindsey dressed as Phelba watching me smiling and dancing to me play and she shouted "Yeah Matt!" as she danced, mason filmed all this, she went down the line talking to people about how i was playing i think, then manson proceeded to film me for about a minute or so.
I went in for the VIP talked to whitney and mckay for a bit, then had a nice conversation with drew while i waited, then i got up and met lindsey she said she loved the bow and has been using it all tour and for videos, and she said i get better and better at the violin each time she watches me play, then i turned to gavi and said "i remember you said you loved pittsburgh during the SLC new years eve show, and you told me your favorite number was four, so i made you this"
i proceeded to give him the jersey, he had no words he tried to says something but didnt, he just hugged me (lindsey watching said Awee) and gavi was really happy to get it , later at the end when he came out for the encore he showed off the jersey to everyone and pointed at me, then at the end when they left drew gave me one of his drum sticks, gavi walked over and was about to hand the set list to a group of girls, but then changed to me at the least second (yes i beat out a group of girls for the set list lol)
