This thread is here in the hope that we can but some of this silliness and name calling to rest. I will be as honest, clear and to the point as I can.

People are basically getting pathetic and calling everything a hack or glitch now. Let me set the record straight. Oh and before anyone starts I used to be a CoD addict and used hacks and lag-switches (not something I'm proud of) so I know what I'm talking about.

Hacks:

There are many hacks people are accused of having, allow me to put some of these to rest;

Aim bots - They simply DO NOT WORK on space marine. Due to the game mechanics they don't work. Simple as that. The only weapon it kind of works on is a lascannon but even then it fails the vast majority of times due to the fact that because a lascannon can shoot through some walls it will just shoot at a wall that cannot be fired through because there is someone on the other side so this hack fails and can't be used on Space Marine.

One shot - This is one of the only hacks that does work on space marine and it turns a bolt pistol into a one hit kill weapon. This hack however is extremely rare and hard to do.

Invulnerability - This is another of the only hacks that actually works. I have heard people saying people have it because they survive things with a little bit of health left. All I have to say to these people is that your a fucking idiot. If someone truly has this hack active then they will take no health OR armour damage no matter what. Again this hack is rare and hard to do.

Rapid fire - In my experience this only works on one weapon, the Stalker. Before anyone starts this hack doesn't rapid fire the thing, it will fire the entire clip of 10 shots in one pull of the trigger so it's fairly easy to spot. I have been accused on having rapid fire on my Las before for example. Again, to the people that say that, you are a fucking idiot. Weapons such as a Las have a fixed fire rate therefore can't be rapid fired. End of.



Glitches -

Time to put some of the glitches and exploits of this game into order.

Jump swing - Been discussed so many times and I am not getting into that one.

Melta corner glitch - There is a glitch that allows a melta gun to fire through a corner. This is done by having only half the reticule on the corner.

Melta roll - This allows you to fire the melta gun mid-role and is surprisingly easy to do.

Cover glitch - A well known glitch that allows players to stand behind a piece of terrain and fire through the cover. More commonly known as the head glitch.

Spawn Glitch - Used to get inside the enemy spawn shield on Seize Ground. I don't need to describe it, simply look at the video of the Blood Eagles doing it on Youtube.

Feel free to add any I missed.



Mods -

Simple enough, modded controllers that allow rapid fire on weapons such as a plasma gun, stalker and plasma pistol.


Lag Switch -

Now here's one I here waaay too often.

It doesn't work. It simply doesn't work. You know when everyone gets put into their own separate game and it says victory because everyone left? Thats someone trying to use one. They do not and never will work on space marine.


I hope this has put afew arguments spawned by afew ignorant fuck heads that have no clue what they are talking about.

Before anyone asks how I know this, when I was around a level 20 I was a complete dick and made a separate account to test these things to see if they would work. I had a Lag-switch. I did use the hacks I listed. I had a booter that allowed me to kick people offline.

I no longer have any of these things or want them. I just wanted to share my knowledge with you all so that you know that 99.9% of people calling hacks are fuck nuts that haven't got a clue what they are talking about.

Not trying to cause a stir but the bolt pistol isnt a hack is says on the loading a head shot from a bolt pistol to the head is a one shot kill but this is also if the sm doesnt have any armor as well tho. But tht is part of the game.

I'm not talking about that. There is a genuine hack that let's you shoot a devastator on full armour with an iron halo in the foot once and kill it. I know. I used it on my other account. As I said I am not proud of these things but I'm just clearing the air.

I've done the spawn glitch once by accident. I was still new to the game and didn't know that the glowing wall was actually supposed to keep me out. One spontaneous roll later I was in the enemy spawn area. I was then surrounded by 4 melta guns and a hammer. I now know to not enter the spawn area.

They spawn on the other side of the barrier, when they spawn on the homer with his back to the spawn barrier.
