As their conversation continued they both heard a polite cough. Stood before them was an elderly gentleman about 70 years old. His clothing light and flowing with a tunic of the Lords Household over the top.
"Greetings Master Inquisitor my apologies for you having to wait out here like a commoner. Had we received word of your visit then we would have prepared more diligently. If you would like to follow me then I will take you inside."

Naomi looks at the man while he's talking and with a smile she say the first thing that comes up in her head.
"Oh, don't worry Sir, Mr Inquisitor doesn't suffer from being treated like you or me once in a while..."
She looks over to Mr Inquisitor Harker before she curtsy towards the man. "I'm Naomi. Nice to meet you Sir"
She looks back to Mr inquisitor Harker again with a big smile on her face.
"Your turn Mr Inquisitor!"
"Oh, don't worry Sir, Mr Inquisitor doesn't suffer from being treated like you or me once in a while..."
She looks over to Mr Inquisitor Harker before she curtsy towards the man. "I'm Naomi. Nice to meet you Sir"

Harker looks at Naomi and shakes his head then turns his attention back to the House Carl.
"My orders have some..... delicacy so I was unable to sent word ahead of my... our arrival. Please" He gestures to the great doors. " after you."
The elderly gent nods and turns leaving them to follow.
Harker turns back to Naomi and whispers, "Sometimes we have to act the way we are expected to or we arouse suspicion."
"Why do you spend your time listening to his drivel. Kill him now and be free of him." The usual voice slithers around the back of your mind.

The servant leads you into a lavish waiting room. Fine carpeted floors and ornate tapestries adorn the walls. The scent of atomic herbs and spices hang in the air.
"I shall sent word to my lord of your arrival. I'm sure he will want to great you personally." The servant makes to leave but is stopped by a hand on his arm by Harker. He puts something in his hand that Naomi didn't quite see.
"Thankyou for your service to the Empire."
"Oh no need sire it is my pleasure." Whatever Harker gave him he takes with him none the less.
As the doors shut the room is left quiet with just the two of you in there.

With her hands behind her back, holding Sticky in a firm grip, so he doesn't do something stupid, she roams the room and taking a closer look on all the furniture and ornaments in there.
"So, what's the real reason for being here, I guess it's not just for a comfortable bed we knocked on this palace's door?"

"The assassins that were sent to kill me were Shadow Blades. I don't expect you have heard of them. They are vicious, lethal and one would need a heavy purse to hire them."
He moves over to where she stands.
" I don't believe we stopped them that night, however they saw you and will probably use you to get to me if they can. How you managed to kill one?! Well lets just say I'm more than surprised. We are here because I believe the Lord may be able to shed a little light on ... our situation."
He looks at Naomi with a leveled gaze seemingly assessing her reaction.

"Did you heard that Sticky? We are popular, The Shadow Blades.. Have you ever heard of them? Oh sorry, I don't see why You should care if they killed me. They can't get to You, by me, so why try?"
