After a short while food is brought to his cabin. From the porthole he can see the ship reach the dock and huge thick ropes are thrown ashore. Dock hands tie off the great ropes and he feels a sideways jolt as the ship is docked in the port of Ramas.

I wolf down my food in a ravenous hunger and wipe my mouth with a satin cloth. Rising I exit my cabin and make my way to the upper deck.

As you reach the deck you hear the calls and shouts of the sailors. The deck is a hive of activity. Ropes are being let out, sails secured and rigging tightened. As you look out to the harbour it is clear that many of the vessels that are docked here have seen some trouble out at sea. Some more than others. Below you see the Ramas harbour workers busy securing the great ropes of your ship to the jetty and once secure the ships gangplank is let out.
The great port city of Ramas lays before you.

I step off the gangplank and onto the jetty. Workers move past me as they ferry supplies to and from the ship. Looking around I move onto dry land and look for a notice board or a inn

It does not take you long to find The Marble Arc. The Inn, a grand 3 story building situated along the main street, was clean and smelt of cooking meats and spiced wine. In the far corner by an open fire sat a minstrel playing a lute. The music light and peaceful. There are a few customers talking in hushed voices. Behind a long counter a barman and two maid's converse and clean.

I wander over to the bar and nod in gesture to the other customers. I look over to the barman and cough slightly"excuse me"

[Talon Lord Othrim]

Seeing that he has a customer the barman walks over. "Good morning sir. What can I get for you?"

"A good wine if possible." I look at him seriously "and information"

[Talon Lord Othrim]

"Information!?" the barman raises his eye brow. "Well you don't look like a city guard to me and you certainly look to clean to be a bounty hunter. What sort of information do you think I have that may benefit you good sir?" He pours a short glass of wine and hands it over.

I hand over the coin charged. "I am looking for someone who guys by the name of Meecham. Do you know him?"

"Ah well then" he replies, "that's one piece of info I do know. He should be in here about an hour or so. You come to look for work?"

"Aye. Just arrived here actually. Very lively isn't it?" I drain the last of my wine and thank the barman "Is there a room I can rent?"

[Talon Lord Othrim]

"oh we only just opened," He chuckles. "It will be a while before it gets busy in here but it does. As for the room. The rates are two silver bed and board. Money in advance you understand?"

"Yes. Of course." I hand over three pieces of silver. "The third is for if you fetch me when Meecham arrives"

[Talon Lord Othrim]

"Most generous sire," he replies. "Would you like one of the girls to take you to your room now? or would you like to enjoy a meal first? As I said he should be here in an hour or two."

"I ate not long ago but why waste such good hospitality?" I chuckle "What do you recommend?"

For the next few hours you receive good food and wine. The surroundings are pleasant and homely.

Your attention is captured by the barman as he waves over to you and gestures over towards a fine looking gent that has entered. Long blonde hair tied back into a plait and a trim goatee of the same colour the gent is studying the notice board.

I nod in thanks to the barman and rise, making my way over to the notice board. "Hello. I see you are looking at this notice board.. Am I right in presuming that I am conversing with Meecham?"
