Story so far....

Sicarion's village was raides by Orcs and Goblins and hie fathers armour rightfully his by heretage was taken. Sicarion charterd a vessle to take him to Myrmidens but once he reached the city he found all further ships had been shored due to pirates and raiders.
Whilst looking for a vessel Sicarion ran foul of a street thief who took all his gold. Unable to charter a ship to take him the rest of the way he had no option but to sell some of the valuable jewels that encrusted his swords. Now with coin he is again able to look for passage.

In the Inn of the Guilded Mermaid he finds food and rest......

I approach the bar and ask thw tender for a meal and a warm bed. "Do you know anyone at all who might be able to charter a ship of of this place? I can pay him well." Taking my meal of roast boar and wine I sit at a booth in the far end of the inn and Survey the rest of the occupents.

Across the room you see the sailor from the other day. He is again sitting with the same woman. The Captain you tried to barter passage with untill you found you had been robbed.

I finish my meal and pour the last of my wine down my throat. I wipe my mouth with a lace hankerchief and wander over to the sailor. "Hello again. Do you remember me? I'm Sicarion and was trying to gain passage on your vessel. I now have the funds to pay you...is this enough?" I place a silk bag on the table with 100coins inside

The sailor looks in the bag then to the woman. "Well, looks like you have yourself passage across the gulf. We will set sail at high tide. The ship is called Redemption." He hands the bag of coins to the woman.

"I thankyou sir. May I ask when high tide is?"

"High tide will be at noon." The pair stand and bid you farwell.

As you watch them leave you see a messenger enter the tavern and afix a poster to the message board.

I wande over to the board and take the flier off it. Turning to the courier I say "I'll do it. Please where is the destination?"

[Talon Lord Othrim]

The courier turns, "Ramas is on the north/west coast, about a weeks ride. No one has claimed it yet so I have been told to put the work further a field."

"...can you reach there by boat?"

[Talon Lord Othrim]

He stops and thinks. "Well yes I suppose you could. Leave the gulf to open water and follow the coast north. Say two maybe three days."

"I'll do that then. I already have a ship ready to set off in a moment. Thankyou" I turn and exit the inn heading to the ship. I see the sailor and call out to him "I need to go to Ramas. Just along the gulf on the north west coast"

The Sailor looks to you. "That sir elf is something you will have to discuss with the Captain. Come aboard."

He indicates to you the gang plank allowing passage onto the ship.

I walk across the plank looking out over the sea.

The high sun shines on the broiling water. High above in the rigging the rolled sails jossle in the high winds.

The large sailor from the inn approaches. "Welcome aboard the Redemption. If you'd like to follow me." He walks across the deck to an ornate set of doors.

I follow after him and smile to see that even humans can apply detail and ine architecture to boats.

He opens the doors to the Captains quarters and ushers you inside. "Forgive me if I dont join you but I have a ship to prepare for launch." He turns from you and shouts a few orders to the other sailors on deck. There is a short corridor ahead of you with another door, closed.

I step into the coolness of the corridor and walk to the closed door. I knock three times and wait politely

From the otherside of the door a voice calls "Enter"

I open the door and step inside, turning and closing the door begind me.
