I just discovered the pissbag that is Matt Ward. To all of you TableTop 40k fans, my sympathies.

As a fan of the setting, I'm pretty appalled myself.

NOTE: i hear (i think its just a rumor) that matt ward was leaving 40k, that he was going to do lord of the ring books from now on

I know of nothing new that he has done, I just recently found out about him.

Its funny, because I've been noticing changes over the last couple of years, and I've thought to myself "why am I only hearing about ultramarines? aren't there other 1st founding chapters?".

Now I know.

He needs to write LOTR codexs and leave the Warhammer Universe. I don't see how he's still writing to be honest no one has ever said a positive thing about him. Sorry to any LOTR fans if he does start writing LOTR codexs he'll FUCK them up to lol.

I've heard that most of what he has written for LOTR tabletop is actually decent.

LOTR needs completely OP ape shit armies, the games to boring, and unfortunatly Matt Wards anal violation of rules is exactly what they need. He shouldnt be let near 40K, hell I dont think he even understands all the fluff, and if he dont like the fluff he'll replace with fluff from straight out his ass.

I don't have much issue with how he has dealt with the game, however to kill off an entire army is ridiculous. SOBs never did very well because GW never gave them much reason to be played

Ward has mauled everything except his Ultramarines. GW promotes Space Marines 90% then spreads its love to the rest of it's armies evenly lol. Hell Chaos got shafted in the last codex and they tried to make the Black Legion the Ultramarines of Chaos. Why would you focus on only one Chaos Legion? I hear rumors they are doing a new Chaos Legions codex with a Chaos Renegade codex. GW is just milking it's fans for all they can before Infinity takes over lol. I can't wait to see how much GW prices will be going up in June but if you look at the new VC codex being $41 I believe we can get a good idea at the next JUMP in price. They should let Ward go and not jack their prices up lol.

Didn't he give Grey Knights some kindof dumbass superarmor, a terminator suit inside of some power ranger type shit?

Also, his Ultramarines codex states that all chapters not descended from Guilliman are deviants who can never hope to be equal to the Ultramarines. After all, they don't follow the Codex.

Tried but I cant get the URL on the mobile phone version of the site, all I can do on the account is view the images themselves. Oh well, one of them is the Nemesis Doomknight formation with doomknight arms, legs and body that looks like a merged transformer, the other is an image of an Ultrasmurf saying to a Grey Knight crying in his bed "hey brother, want another go on the doomknight?" "just fucking leave me alone!" sais the crying Grey knight.

Don't know about ya'll but I have mixed feelings about the upcoming chaos codex. Guess it's just a wait and see thing for now.

I doubt that I'll be buying it or the Renegade codex. I just hope they add some Legion models to the Chaos line up. I'm tired of the ones they have. They're just to bland.
