The eyes watch intently as the archivists hand loses its glow.

Cyera bristles but bites her toungue.

Both leave the hive without a word as the alpha flayer chuckles .

He sighed in relief before turning to the Alpha. "It's not over yet. They are still in vicinity of one another." he told it as he rubbed the scales of his head out of stress. "Let's go see what needs to be done now." he said as he goes to exit the hive. He was just happy he did not have to return and tell Nocturne how her sister was harmed. 'I would rather not fail my mother twice in the same day.' he said in his mind to himself, a shiver running down his spine and tail at the thought.

Cyera seems to have calmed, her arms folded around her chest as she considers the archivist.

" you are odd creature... What do you hunt."

The archivist smiles, " I am a living gene pool of the Cain family... I'm here to bring certain cells back..."

When he walked out of the cave, his pale red eyes squinted closed against the sunlight. "Almost forgot about that." he said annoyed as he took his helm and removed the top plate, putting ontop of his skull. Now with the lenses protecting his eyes, he was able to see as he walked closer to the two. "Wait, you are a genetic back of the cain family? How and why?" he couldn't help but ask.

The archivist smiles.

" I was made to return genes to the younger Cain ... I a repository to him. I have all the antibodies, organs, frontal and rear lones needed should he ever need to be revived... I was made for him at birth.. But he was moved at a young age and my job deemed unnecessary so I was told to harvest DNA of queens."

Cyera coughs and looks at the archist

" so you are augusteses consort?

The archivist smiles.

" I was meant for his son.... He just supplied me the DNA."

"He must not know about you, otherwise Caliphas cain would have been looking for you by now." he thought aloud. "But who told you to harvest DNA from queens though?" he asked now.

The archivist smiles, revealing her fangs.

He tilted his head to aside in curiosity. "Hm, for some reason....I am not that surprised." he said. "And I doubt you are going to tell me why he is gathering them, are you?" he asked now, asking in case she would actually tell.

" because he expects betrayal from noctourne and her supporters and wants to have specimens or counter weapons of and when th issue comes up."

Cyeras jaw drops a if it fell with an anvil.

Thaes chuckled and sighed at the same time. "Oh this is just...." he started before laughing a little more. "Mother's going to be.....upset." he said to himself quietly as he calmed down and stopped. He looked to the Archivist. "So, what next for you?" he asked, not sure what else to say now.

Something catches your ear.

A familiar roar, a defiant snarl.

The clouds above seem to darken and the archivist cocks her head.

" what is..... An Odontoceci doing here."


Something resonates inside you, the voice pulls you back t a familiar time and you hear something that makes you shiver .

" there is enough of your kind here! Good day sir!"

It took Thaes a few moments as his mind reluctantly realize who it could possible be. "....No...no it can't be him." he said, his eyes growing wide. "How did he even find me?" He asked as his head twitched to several directions to see where the voice was coming from.

There is a loud crack of thunder and you can see that lightning struck in a area not too far from you.

The archivist begins to slither in the direction of the ruckus her head cocked

"Wait no god damnit." he said after seeing the archivist slither off to the spot the lighting struck. "Please don't let it be him, please don't be let it be him." he said shaking his head as goes to follow as well.

As yo crest the hill to a park overlook you see a lobe figure snarling in fury.

A massive varghen , built out of solid muscle , a white tiger snarls in insane fury. In his hand he holds a two handed broadsword as big and wide as you are tall.

The storm worsens as he cuts swaths into a small herd pf ghouls, sending the bodies into piles on either side of him.

" Jesus...."

The archivist hisses, scratching the scales of her neck.

" what strength... Who could this be."

Thaes just stood there as if he didn't even hear the archivist, his shoulder's slumped. "Why is he here on U.S. soil, not back on the islands?" he started asking himself. He put his claws over the lenses of the helm piece. "What did I do to deserve....wait." He stopped as he looked up. "Forget I asked that." he added before looking over to the pack. "Hide for now, I'll tell you when it's safe." he told them. He started heading down the hill, doubting he was going to get out of this. "He'll be done before I reach the foot of this hill anyways." he said to himself, knowing he was right.

The figure hurls back its head and lets out a roar, stunning the last ghoul with the force of the howl and he brings his blade down with a thunderous crash, splitting the ghoul in half with a clap of thunder.



The figures shoulders rise and fall, the atom seems to rage all around you as his breath evens and the rain falls.

He just stood there and watched as he cut down the last ghoul, let him take a few breaths before he said anything. "So, you done now Johten?" he asked him with a sigh, as if this all was normal.

The massive tiger turns and looks at you, a massive disarming smile playing across his lips.

" thaes! Comrade.!"

He lifts you in a crushing hug and smiles as bones pop in protest.

" I've found you! It's about time after wandering this damn wasteland for two years!"

His eye grew wide as his feet were left dangeling in the air and his lungs crushed. "Interal organs...rupturing...release!" he tried to say in the few breaths he could catch. "What do you mean two years? Why are you not back at the islands?" he asked, confuse now more than ever.
