As of Support Ticket #277 the Salamanders Leader "ll_Shadowz" has requested we dissolve the Chapter due to chronic inactivity and lack of participation in all events - including practices and inter-chapter matches.

This has been actioned and the chapter is now lost to the halls of the hallowed dead. The chapter forums have been now been "deactivated" (not deleted).

I wish the few remaining active members they have the best of luck wherever and whatever they do.

its a shame to hear, i wish the salamanders luck where ever they go. They were a noble chapter and fought to the end

Yeah they struggled ever since Graia to keep their member activity above the line, they just never managed to get a large enough dedicated core of players to suck in others. It's impressive they almost made it a full year though

You're always welcome to the Black Templars. We're still small enough that you'll get plenty of play time in clan matches and we do desperately need the members. If not I'd also suggest the World Eaters as well.

Raven Guard are also looking for active players; our roster currently counts 21 members but less than half are active regularly.

Truly Sorry to hear this bad news, especially after the warm welcome you guys gave the Legion of the damned when we joined the Gothic wars. We had hoped to fight alongside you and your battle brothers. I'm not sure what time you normally play but we play every night, and you are most welcome to join us in a game or two should you wish.

Indeed it is a sad day when a chapter disolves through inactivity but evry door closed is a window opend so good look on your endevours.

Suck to hear, y'all had what was needed to succeed. A core group of 3-5 players that are active. Recruiting is hard due to the small community but you have to be dedicated enough to making it work. Hope y'all do not quit the game, best of luck.

Hmm, you don't have to have dedicated members on the site to remain a faction. All that we require is that Leaders & XOs remain active to process new applicants and challenges.

The Crimson Fists will always welcome new players, if you guys are looking for a new chapter. I'm a fan of the Salamanders, so this is sad to hear. I'm glad we got a game with you guys before the end.

Why does thisn thread seem to be people trying to recruit the ex-salamanders.
Hell guys i say you should try to find a chapter that is willing to take you on as salamanders that have been assigned to there chapter that way you can keep your heritage. Then again you could always go with a new begining. You could also just merc from chapter to chapter.
