[Iron K]

"As you wish, my 'Inquisitor'. At present I have acquired some new equipment, so I now have:
- One set of Flak armor.
- One Laspistol with a clip.
- My Shotgun , with about 30 shots left.
- Two Jungle Knifes.
- The Holo Projector

All other equipment have been destroyed. If you deem it worthy, I will accept any equipment you see fit to bestow upon me."

After the transmission to the 'Owner' is done, Krell takes a minute to send a short message to the Valkyrie, detailing that he will move on from the First Point of Interest, towards the Mechanicus Facility in the North.

Satisfied that all is as it should be, Krell unplugs the Holo Projector, and moves towards the yard again, climbing the stairs carefully. Once under the open sky again, Krell tries to get his baring. Without the compass, he needs to trust in his instincts, and what he learned as a child.

Now that I think about it, there should be a great pillar of smoke to the West after my ignition of the poisonous fumes. If that is still there, it should be easy finding North...

the projector beeps and a small voice issues forth from it
"Krell, the station is towards the other way" you can hear the mirth in the inquisitors voice as he says this, and you curse as you realise you had been heading south.

just before you reach the compound again, you make out the whine of turbo engines in the sky, and your vox bleeps
"howdy down there, the eye in the sky has come to give you a ride!" it's the same pilot from earlier, guiding his valkyrie down through the thermals so that you may board

Krell climbs aboard, and takes a seat.
"I thank you. I was worried that I wouldn't accomplish the mission in due time...
Have you seen anything you deem worthy of mentioning?"
He asks with a flat voice, while looking out on the jungle below.

[Warmonger]

"Are you joking mate?" The pilot laughs as he pulls the valkyrie back into the air, and away northward. "Can't see anything through the foliage, unless I blasted through or something. My mission is high atmosphere support. And I can't get you to the outpost, just to a clearing three clicks north-west of it. That means, just in case, you have to head south-west when we land, got it?" he smirks as he says the last part

[Iron K]

"Good." Krell answers calmly, completely unaware of the joke aimed at him.
While the craft speeds of, Krell takes a moment to rest, and examine his body for damage.

[Warmonger]

you find that you are reasonably well rested, and have no major wounds, save for a few cuts here and there. The valkyrie soon reaches the clearing, and a rope is lowered for you to rappel down, back into the forest.

Out of nowhere there is a horrific screech, and one of the wings shears off of the valkyrie! The pilot curses, as the crafts bucks and then plumets to the Jungle below.
"We're going down!" he yells over the collossal noise "Try and hold onto something" and with that the valkyrie smashes into the canopy

the crash is horrific, with parts of the craft shearing off all over the place as it hits the canopy. Within seconds there is a tearing sound and the heavy bolter comes loose and slams into you! This renders you unconcious.

When you come to you are aware of a sharp pain in your right shoulder, and blanche as you see a piece of metal embedded there.
{HP loss 35 points (65 remain) stamina low, rations critical}

Krell coughs and groans, as he's trying to stand on unsteady legs. He coldly observes the piece of metal, and realizes that it could be a mistake to pull it out without any medical equipment. But on the other hand, he could not stay at the crash site for to long before the beasts of the jungle would come investigating. Or worse, that whatever attacked them in the sky would come back to finish the job..
Quickly starting to look through the wreck, hoping to find some simple equipment he could use before he set of into the jungle once more.

You find a small crate lying relatively unharmed, and when open you can see that there is a laspistol, 4 clips of ammo and 4 days of rations and water. More surprising however, is finding the pilot... although he looks to be in as poor a state as you are!

Krell looks down on the injured pilot. Things would not get easier having him slowing him down.. The most sensible would be to leave him, and continue the mission. But his master had loaned him the use of the Valkyrie and it's pilot. Krell could not return the Valkyrie, but at least the pilot. Not bothering to try and awake him, Krell simply lifts the pilot over his shoulder, and takes the crate in the other hand. He want's to leave the site as quickly as possible, before more trouble shows up.

you head in what you hope is a northern direction - the crash has removed all sense of direction from you.

After about twenty minutes of slow paced walking the pilot awakes, and groans slowly, eventually coughing up a small amount of blood.
"Hey there friend, can we stop for a moment" he stammers

[Warmonger]

"Please," he adds, his voice sounding strained "I think that if we go on to much farther, i'll just be a burden"

Stopping his motions, Krell put down the pilot against a tree. He coldly asserted the pilots physical status. It was true that this man would be a burden, and would most likely hinder him in his mission. But it was his responsibility to return the pilot to his owner, or at least what was left of him..
"Stay here." He said without waiting for an answer, and went of into the surrounding jungle with the goal to find a good site for a makeshift camp.
