Issac croutches in the shadows planning his route across to the adepts

The course would be rough, taking you through the heart of the manufactory assembly line itself. Just as you prepare for the journey, and likely murders you hear a voice in your mind, low and insidious...
~There is more than one way to achieve this goal friend, BUT BY THE GODS YOU MUST NOT KILL HIM~ you can feel an incredible sense of rage overpower you for a moment ~Faithful servants approach to show you a true path to your 'target', but please just make this foolish inquisitor simply think that you have killed him. I needn't have to tell you what will happen if you don't save this mans life~

you hear booted feet appraoch, and a worker turns the corner and looks directly at you. From his belt he slips a red security card and motions to you the previously unseen maintenance ways, which will lead directly to the office.

Issac takes the card and nods his thanks to the worker. swiping the card he enters the maintenance ways already planning how he was going to pull off hiding the fact he didnt kill the mechanicus adept.

you think to yourself that a glancing blow on the neck could do the trick, as it would not kill the man, but it would appear to anyone but the best trained of medics to tell that the adept had not sustained a killing blow, and the inquisitor can only track your progress through your mind, so if you see a killing shot... so will he


the downside, it's a very tricky shot...

Tobias thrusts his hand forward aiming for the sweet spot on the adepts neck

The man hits the floor, convulsing violently. You can tell immediately that you have struck right, and as the alarms begin to ring you quickly turn tail and run, knowing that the adept will soon appear dead.
+a clean kill, well done+ the inquisitor mind pulses +I am pleased with the progress here, now get out quick before they corner you. They will no doubt be sending Skitarii this time.+

~be aware~ the voice says ~that they will take the adept to be cremated. You must go and find him as he awakes. Tell him that Galalnash sent you, he will listen and understand~

Issac waits for the adept to be taken and follows a distance to see where they place the body

the 'body' is taken to a small morgue ante chamber, and there the other adepts leave it, not willing to defile it's presence any longer. They shuffle out, and the adept wakes, stirring slowly, gasping as he see's you alone with him.

"What do you want from me?" he hisses

"Galalnash sent me you need to listen there was an Inquisitor who had discovered what gods you follow and wanted you killed I killed you now you need to stay out of the lime light or you risk bringing him back to kill you properly without me to fake it. Now is there a way out of here without drawing the guards attention?" Issac says looking at the walls around the room.

[Warmonger]

"Blessed galalnash..." the adept breathes "I have waited long for this day to come brother, for if galalnash has indeed sent you then great and wonderous things are in motion. Quickly, follow me. There is much that we must talk about before you depart back to the servant of the false-god." With that he moves over to the wall and presses a small indentation, revealing a hidden passageway. You follow him down a small and dark corridor, into what appears to be a small chamber, with eight ante chambers heading off of it, in a star shaped pattern.

The adept speaks again
"I was told to await the killer, the strong-chosen, who would enter my domain and seek to bring me harm, but all the same to prove my saviour. This strong-chosen is you friend, without doubt. I was bidden to give to you three things..." He hurries over to a silver box,inscribed with arcane symbols. Muttering a short prayer he opens the box.
"The first is a knife, an anathema named Belrok. It has the power of the god's itself, and has been wrought so that the psyker-scum will not be able to detect it's presence." he withdraws the knife from the box, and reverently hands it to you... hilt first.
"The second are the bracers of Galalnash himself, worn before his ascendancy." Two bracers come from the box next, and they seem to glimmer with hidden malice. "It is said the wearer will have the mortal strength of galalnash, and be able to commune with him. Coupled with the knife it grants the blessed the ability to draw upon denizens of the warp to fight for his cause. Use it well."
He closes the box and stows it away once more
"The third was some advice and a prophecy: The time of the third-sundering is at hand. You are my chosen, the warrior of galalnash, and you will bring enlightenment to this system. To do this we must first find the five keys, and then you must place them in the gateway of obsidian on Thandros prime. Then you will be venerated in the gods names!"

"if you wish to leave now, take that passage there" the adept points "it will take you back outside the perimeter fence. Go now, with the God's gifts!"

Issac takes the gifts "thank you adept remember to stay hidden" with that Issac heads down the passage emerging into the daylight hiding the gifts on his person he looks ups +inquisitor i am ready for extraction+

[Warmonger]

+excellent work, my astropaths inform me that there is no longer a trace of the adept. Please hold for extraction+

you wait for a scarce few minutes, before a small stealthed shuttle touches down, with barely a whisper of thrusters. You board and strap in as it lifts of and returns to the inquisitors cruiser. You make your way to the main chamber, where he is sat.

this is just the end of this mission, shortly I will start a new thread where you will be given another. I have decided that there is going to be a skill tree in which you can spend points, which will be added shortly as well. above are the points that you have earned this mission, 2 for 'killing the adept' and five for letting him live.
