Just an apology from our hosting company.
The first outing a few days ago was a hardware failure in the server farm.
Todays outing was they made the new domain the main one on my account which affects where the "/forums" folder is supposed to be located. As they never told me they had finally done it, I didn't find out till this morning that they had broken all the websites I host.
It is all fixed now at least!

Just an update again, after screaming at the hosting company they found another user (another website) is accessing our shared database server and overloading it resulting in shitty performance. Waiting to hear back from them

They weren't on our website. We hire server space off a company and part of that is our SQL Databases are part of a shared hosting database. All it takes is another user of that shared database to hog it and all suffer
