[Talon Lord Othrim]

Piercing her leg, the stone spear bites deep. She can see the broken end of the stalactite but instead of broken stone a myriad of small hooked legs flail about trying to get a purchase. On the side of the stone an eye opens and glares at her.

yelling out in pain she tries to fling the creature from her leg and pulls out her knife ready to defend herself. one hand holding her knife aimed at the thing on the ground, the other searching through her sack for a piece of rope to tie around her leg as a tourniquet.

Once removed blood begins to flow from the wound. The Creature rolls around till it gets a grip and righting it'self begins to move for the cavern wall, slow and lumbering.

cyriene quickly tied the rope as tight as she could around her leg wincing and biting down on her sleeve trying not to scream too loud. Once satisfied that she'd has tightened the tourniquet she scrambled to her feet, hobbling over to the wall and with one sharp slam she hits the creature as it slowly climbs upward. letting out an almighty yell with frustration and pain

Unable to pierce the stoney hide the blade does nothing but scratch the surface. the creature continues to climb.

Grunting with frustration she sits herself down with a thump and makes sure her leg is wrapped up tight. Then she rises and grudgingly tries to carry on through the cavern. her 'leg dragging on the ground throbbing in agony with each step

As she continues to make her way around the cavern the feeling of the floor changes under foot. She can feel flat even surfaces. Fumbling round her hand closes round a wooden handle. It feels like a oil torch.

Perfect she thought as she rummaged in her sack, after finding what she was looking for she lit the torch,her eyes taking a while to adjust to the sudden intrusion of light.

As her eyes adjusted to the glare the worked stone corridor stretched ahead of her. She could now see the natural stone cavern and here and there stalactites moved across the ceiling. A small underground stream trickled.

By the look of the corridor no foot had disturbed the dust in many a year.

"hmm curious" she said aloud to herself as she found herself going deeper and deeper into the natural corrider, wandering where each step would take her. Her curiosity. Now giving her that extra push she needed to keep going . She wandered what she would find at the end of the tunnel, if there even was an end.

You travel for a long while, unsure what time it would be above ground, Day? Night? Tired and hungry you finally come to a wooden door decaying with dry rot.

Not quite realising just how tired she was Cyriene let out a long drawn out yawn, her body ached but she needed to get back home. she studied the door for what seemed an eternity, looking for its weakest points should it be locked. bringing her ear close to the door she listened. Using her sense of smell as well as sound to work out what may be on ther other side.

The sound of water trickles but other than that nothing.

Cyriene pushes gently at first then gives the door a big shove with her shoulder

The wood splinters and shatters giving away easily. Less opening the door and more going through it. The light of her torch flickers casting shadows about the room. At a quick glance, hexagonal with two other doors. In the center of the room a raised dais with a bowl made of a substance which is unclear due to thick dust.

Her eyes were drawn immediately at the doors at the far end of the room and she made her way toward them. Cyriene being her usual inquisitive self paused as she passed the bowl and reached her hand out to touch it

A slight hum can be heard. Dust falls from the bowl and the words 'Aqua De Vitae' can be seen shimmering in the touch light. As you hand gets closer the hum gets louder.

Without thinking She pulls her hand back sharply then quickly makes for the door. she'd never heard anything quite like it before and for some reason,perhaps because she was tired. It made her feel uneasy
