This has been reported to THQ, whether they do anything about it or not remains to be seen.

If anyone is a member there, can you download it and send it to me. It would be useful to have a copy of the files, so if they remove or hide them I can forward them to THQ. If not I'll register and get and archive a copy later tonight.

On a serious note, if any of the people on here are caught using it (with undeniable proof) they will be the first non-bots to be publicly banned, they will be mass reported. We are here to have a good time on a game we love, this sort of childish actions will not be tolerated!

What really makes me sick are the responses thanking the guy for making the trainer. I've dealt with more than my fair share of modding crap when I played Halo PC. I had thought that consoles were a place of solace, a bastion away from those who would give themselves an unfair advantage. These fools have tainted the water.

I like the fact that USB drives are available as storage devices now, but I thoroughly despise that they've made this sort of thing possible.

A fighter should be free to hone their skill to the maximum without worry of their opponent's authenticity.

This shit was possible before USB drives were usable, it involved modding the Xbox motherboard with a chip to allow it to play downloaded games, but also to accept modded gamesaves and exploits like this.

It's actually quite easy to detect and deal with, but it's expensive to do so. Which is why it's not commonly done (to detect and to exploit)

They'll certainly make playing random games a chore, and will definitely discourage new players unless it's dealt with.
