[Armoured Priest]

Barren's little orange eyes looked at the tiny blade, then at the little girl, then back at the knife. 'My claws are longer than that.' He thought to himself. With that he again tried to see how to open the grate, hopefully quietly and before the two saw him.

The kid was shrugging off bullets like she was being shot by nerf guns, only she seemed to absorb the mass to spawn new tentacles. It was.. Interesting in a grotesque way; making Oce's stomach churn as adrenaline pumped through her veins. This kid was not a kid at all, and that was growing more apparent by the second. It would have been frightening, if it hadn't been for her experience with her brother. These kinds of things wouldn't break her; she wouldn't let them. 

 

When a stray bullet it a crystal on her back, Oce knew that she wouldn't be able to help much, especially considering that she served as the rear guard. It would take too much focus and energy to protect the apparent weak spots. And as she caught the four men charging towards them, she knew that she had to follow through with her orders. Hah, imagine that. She went from taking orders from the Ho Siht, to taking orders from a ten year old. 

 

Oce intended to take them out before they could get too close, so she began with a series of spikes on the pavement, fairly small in stature, but wickedly sharp and intended to go unnoticed and impale them through the soles of their shoes.

You see the the grate can be pushed forward, and the little girl moves to the side, enough for you to get therough as the men can be heard shouting orders.

the spikes erupt from the ground and skewer the mens legs, all except one who jumps back and  and draws a blade. He lunges at you and slams youy into googys back, trying to bring the blade down into your neck

Seeing his chance now, little gremlin Barren tries to push the grate open. He kept an ear to the sounds of metal scrapping metal, trying to keep it in synch with the shouting to have noise masking what he was doing. He wondered if the girl will fit through the opening he was about to make, or if he'll have to make things bloody to get the two of them out.

Oce's hand tightened around the knife clutched tightly in her hand as she spotted the last male, too late. Shit. She was slammed into Googy's back, causing her to grit her teeth as she used an arm to hold off the assailant's blade just barely. She scrambled to fix her grip on her own blade as she lost inch after inch to the blade at her neck, but when she did, she went to plunge it into the side of his neck while gritting her teeth. She refused to die, there was still too much to be done.
