[Thugren]

everyone files into thge car and sits down. But before anyone speaks, googy places a tentacle across barrens face, as if she were calming him.

 

"Calm down zombie boy... I promise its all goign to be ok... No onmes going to fully sever your connection... And what youre reffering to as a mother is just a captured ghoul node..... well find her and bring her close for you."

 

the tentacle slaps the top of his head playfully  as the car moves forward, driving into the night in silence.

 

 

SOon the car comes to a stop at an estate property. A large wooden door stands in front of you and with a clap, the door begins to grind open, revealing a mansion in the original style. Everyone is lead inside and kamui sits on the hem of the walkway, watching everyone.

 

"Oce..barren and howl. Youre going to start fro mthe bottom.... I have a couple schools wholl supply you with street meat, but youre going to have to take some of the dangerous work to attract stronger members."

 

googy huffs as some of the men bring in crates of supplies and she looks at them.

 

"Somone here is going to get googy a melon soda or soooo help me ima smoosh something!"

 

she stomps her foot and one of the yakuza come with a melon soda on a napin.

 

"Damn right..."

 

she says in annyoance

Oce was just slightly disgusted at the fact that there were tentacles touching her brother's face. While her complexion didn't turn the slightest bit green, she fidgeted a bit and stared purposefully out of the window, shoulders tense. It wasn't the fact that the little girl- Googy she had heard, possessed tentacles, it was just.. She shuddered. While she didn't entirely intend to eavesdrop on their conversation, she figured that knowing potential plans would be helpful, even if this was entirely up to Barren. 

 

The house, or mansion rather, was fine enough. Despite the fact that there were so many people bustling in and out and it just didn't seem secure or safe. It was like hiding in an unlocked closet that was in plain sight, the door just begging to be open. But that still wasn't the worst part of it to Oce; starting from the bottom again? She was struggling to hide her irritation, at least enough to keep her expression from reflecting it. Still, her fingers curled into fists and her temperature dropped a few degrees. 

 

She understood why Kamui was ordering them to do this, but that didn't make it much better. She figured they at least would be used as foot soldiers, people to carve a path of blood before them. Not low like drug dealers. She didn't care that they would hold some vital information- it wasn't what her and her brother were intended for. It just painted them as a target and would likely get them killed if she let her guard down the slightest bit.

Barren nodded and smiled a little after the reinsurance from Googy, even with the tentacle on his face. After they arrived at the mansion looking place and let in by Kamui, the ghoul boy stared wide eye at the luxurious inside of it all since he's never actually been at somewhere this nice before. Or see people waited on hand and foot like Googy was. "You're just letting us live here? Wooow." He asked them, with awe in his voice as he continued looking up. He was pretty sure a lot of his larger forms can easily fit in here too. After listening to what Kamui said about recruiting people and doing work before looking at him and Howl. "What kinda work? And Howl, how do you want to recruit them, since you know, you're the leader here now." he asked him, wanting to know himself since he sure as hell didn't know what to do other than just walk up to other kids and ask them like it was the boyscouts or something.

[Thugren]

Howl looks at them both and sighs.

"Logistically we should get ourselves ingrained in the community ..... the best way to do that is through fear.... barren and oce could you start killing off gang members pumps and stuff? It'll cause an uproar and we can " swoop in" to the power vacuum."

The hook lady chuckles like a wind chime.

" I know just the targets of you two would like..."

[Armoured Priest]

"Oh boy, here we go killing again!" Barren cheered out loud, a subject he was well acquainted for a while now. "Who they be?" He asked Pandora after finding a box and taking a seat on the crate while he listened to whatever information they would be told like it was just another briefing back during when the worked for Ho siht, even if it was in a mansion and not some really bright room with a whole bunch of holograph displays and such. That always gave him such a headache see all those words in the air mixing with one another. At least here it was just being simply told. "Oh, call dibs on the bodies....just being cleared." He quickly interrupted, just so he got first claim before howl did.

Perhaps things weren't as bleak as Oce had believed; killing was always the same, regardless of whether they were just killing street rats or people just as skilled as them. While she doubted that small time gangs would be much of a challenge- something that would keep her distracted, at least it was enough to keep her from idling. 

 

Pandora's laugh was interesting to say the least. It prompted her to focus on the lady her brother bluntly called a hooker, jokingly or not. Oce didn't doubt that she would have been able to 'punish' Barren. Her strength wasn't in question. Something was off about her, aside from the fact that the woman wore hooks like it was nothing. It was intimidating, something that Oce was both annoyed and impressed of.

 

"Please tell me that they will put up a fight."

[Thugren]

there is agang that is currently forcing one of the areas most dangerous killers to work for them via his daughter.... If you can kill them and secure his help and resour ces, hes already familiar with being a serial killer, so it will speed up your control."

 

kamui laughs as Googy whines.

 

"Ohhhh cmmmonn! i wanted to go get Hanzo! he was apposed to be our job!"

 

Kamui shrugs.

 

"If they move on him first we can afford to not jump on one killer."

[Oce]

Oce hummed as she considered the orders, leaning back on the balls of her feet. "That sounds straight forward enough. A spoiled brat typically is more than enough leverage to make daddy dearest to crumble. What is the fine text- er rules?"

[Armoured Priest]

"Well this doesn't sound too complicated, just kill of the gang and boom, we got someone on our side and we got rid of competition." Barren said with a clap of his hands for emphasis on the boom part. So...who and where?" he asked his questions after his sister asked for the rules, which he thought were obvious. Don't hurt the girl. "And what she said." he said, pointing at Oce.

googy hits her brothers coat with her tiny fists in annoyance, whining as her tendrils lash and make comical motions  to weork out her anger.

 

"Ill be working with howl and take him to the  loyal familiaes... "

 

Kamui says calmly as he nods to the nervous young man.

 

"Googy will take you to the area nad help you guys out.... shell just have to wear a mask."

 

Googys anger flares as her tendrils slam into the ground, leaving a large crack.

 

"HOW DARE YOU BIG BROTHER!"

 

she huffs in annoyance, folding her arms and pouting.

 

'FINE I WILL MAKE THEM TAKE ME TO GET ICECREAM BEFORE WE GO!"

 

she points directly at oce.

 

"YOu...Come on, youre taking me to go get icecream." 

[Armoured Priest]

"Hurray we can keep playing together!" The ghoul boy said, happy that Googy was coming with them in spite of what his undead instincts were trying to warn him about. "And Ice cream!" Barren cheered, almost as if forgetting they were about to go slaughter a whole bunch of people for reasons. Getting off the box he was sitting on and running Oce. "Pleeeeeaaase!?" he would beg instead of saying it like a command like googy had did earlier.

Seeing Googy unable to control her tendrils as she angrily assaulted her brother was amusing as well as slightly terrifying. This kid was not to be messed with. While Kamui could very well kill her and her brother by himself, Googy would probably be able to tear them limb from limb without wrinkling her hoodie. Oce was both impressed and wary of the child. Even as she turned her gaze onto the blonde, Oce wasn't afraid of her. Simply because she was like dealing with a younger version of Barren. 

 

Chuckling, she didn't hesitate in approaching Googy to lightly poke her shoulder. "One begs while the other glares..." She clicked her tongue as she glanced at her brother. "Neither of you deserve chocolate ice cream, I swear.." Sighing, she pulled away, already walking away from the house and back to the sidewalk. "Are you coming?"

gooy huffs and runs up to kamui, grabbing a purple bandanna out of his pocket and running to oces side, motioning to barren in excitment.

 

"I deserrver double chocolate chip icecream thank you!"

 

she says as she slides a hand into oces hand.

 

"DO you have any questions about this job lady?"

[Oce]

Oce raised an eyebrow at Kamui's indifference to Googy reaching into his pocket. It was easy to assume that the bandanna was a gang symbol or something similar, but... Reaching into somebody's pocket like that? It must be a regular occurrence. She felt her brow raise even higher when Googy grabbed her hand. This kid was just full of surprises, wasn't she?

"Double chocolate chip?" The blonde whistled, gently squeezing Googy's hand. "How aboooout.. Some of that good old frozen yogurt instead? Stale bread flavored?" She winked to exaggerate her joke before glancing sideways at her brother to ensure he was paying attention, or at least ready to start moving. 

 

"Did you really just call me--" She sighed with a slight grimace. Now she felt old. "Just one. When are we expected to be finished with this?"

Barren ran up to join Googy and Oce as his sister joked with the smaller crime lord about stale bread yogurt. "I got a question." the ghoul boy spoke up after his sister just asked for the time they had to do this. "How did this guy start, you know, being a serial killer in the first place? " he asked googy, wanting to a little more about the guy they were going to have on their side. At least hopefully that is.

Googy says with  a odd look, as if completely confused by the question.

 

"how does anyone become a serial killer zombie boy?"

 

she asks as she pulls oce toward the icecream shop and pushes the door open with a ring.

 

"He kinda just started for his own reasons and goes from there."

 

googy places her face up agains the glass of the icecream bar as the server comes up, looking at you.

 

"Hello miss googy...what will you and your friends have...DOuble chocolate Borneo surprise with rollos?"

 

googy nods and reaches into her pocket, pulling out a cute purse in the form of a spider.

 

"Ill pay since this ones broke....Get me double icecream."

 

the woman nods as googy goes over to a booth in the shape of a clown and sits.

 

"Cmon ill answer questions while we wait."

"I was just asking why he started, not everyone wakes up going 'You know what, I want to stab a whole bunch of people'.....I think." Barren explained himself, though not entirely sure what normal people usually do since he's never really meant many that fit a 'normal' description. "Can I have rocky road please? Thank you." he asked before following googy to the clown booth to sit with her and his sis. "Well, whose the gang that has his daughter? They have to be either brave or a special kind of stupid to do something like that." Barren asked instead as he waited for his cold sugar rush to arrive at the table.

The fact that Googy seemed to ignore her question caused a blonde eyebrow to raise, her eyes momentarily narrowing as she watched the child lead them to the ice cream shop, her grip on the cryomancer's hand never wavering. It couldn't have been comfortable for the girl; she had been told that it was like holding a block of melting ice. But nonetheless, Oce followed along, their linked hands acting somewhat like a leash. Whether it was to keep Oce walking or to prevent Googy from running ahead, it was difficult to tell. 

 

As they entered the store, she internally winced at the bell alerting the worker to their presence, and grimaced when Googy finally realized that both her and her brother were currently broke. Their money was either in the bank, or stashed away at their apartment: inaccessible regardless. Sure, Oce had her wallet with a few bucks in it, but it certainly wouldn't get them very far. A kid less than half of her age was paying for ice cream. That blow to her ego nearly made her flinch. 

 

When the server turned his gaze onto her, she shook her head, muttering something about her organs basically being ice cream, which only her two companions might have been able to hear. She followed Googy to the creepy booth while her brother ordered, sitting beside her for reasons unbeknownst her. Probably so the kid wouldn't begin spazzing out when the sugar entered her system, if Oce had to guess. She briefly met her brother's gaze before allowing her attention to wander while she listened into the conversation. 

 

The flashy colors of the place hurt her eyes so instead she focused on watching the worker prepare their order as her mind wandered. She figured that it would probably be easiest to convert the murderer if they agreed to help him retrieve his daughter, so she interjected that thought when there was a lull in the conversation. It guaranteed loyalty, if they kept the daughter instead. But he would likely be against trading her from captor to captor. He would want freedom, which would ultimately mean that they wouldn't be able to control him completely.  

 

She sighed heavily as she leaned forward, propping her head up on a palm. "Morality or utility?"

[Thugren]

three ice creams are brought over to the table and googy attacks it with surprising voracity. At some point you are very sure her jaw enlongates like some king of marshmallow beast and she takes in massive globs of the sugary icecream into her mouth.

 

 

"Ahem.."

 

she says as she dabs her mouth clean with a handkerchief.

 

"Now ive seen your work in the field...You're sloppy and easily distracted... You'll be working with me for a while to fix that."

 

She snaps and the waiters bring another ice cream.

 

'Your going to get one shot at getting this mans help... We will be getting his daughter to try and force his assistance.... If you fuck it up, hell attack us, and ill have to kill him. Am i understood?"

"Crystal clear." Barren said seriously after Googy had a change in mood for their job, but before finishing his own ice cream in a fervor that would be more reminiscent of a feeding frenzy. Even if his body couldn't really use what nutrition there was in the frozen treat, he was happy that being undead also stopped brain freezes from happening. He looked up to Oce and wondered what was going on in his sister's head. "Hey, you ok sis? You don't look so well." he asked her while explaining why he asked, a note of concern in his voice.
