So Riot recently released there new champion a prehistoric Yordle named Gnar. I liked the look of him, so decided to snatch him up and give him a go.

This is my personal review of him.

Now let me get the first thing out the way- He is amazingly fun to play as. I started by playing a test game against bots on Top lane. Playing with a cool guy running Graves and we are poking the bots back and shit. Both Warwick and Shen are weak by this point, and we are at level 3. So they start to run.

To be crushed by a massive beast. Graves reaction was " Wtf is that"

Warwicks was to give out a little squeal.

This continued late game with late game with the transformations showing now and the , causing damage to the enemy team.

Sadly I only secured 3 kills, mainly because I was experimenting and also because that god damn Quinn.

But there is so much possibility with this little bundle of death, it makes the games interesting. There are some downsides, like catching Boomarangs reduced cool down, but can be hard when being poked. And the transformations can show up at really crap times, like when attacking turrets. Which is pointless. Waste of potential.

Never the less the final verdict from me is that Gnar is very much fun to play as, and I will be running him as a main along side Vlad and Dinger.

Gnar is fun. Especially when he dances.

Two Giratina are better than one.

So, does he randomly transform when attacking, or is it a active, or what?

How could my Chaos Space Marine possibly be this cute?

It's not completely random. It's is passive

It goes up during combat, replacing your mana bar. By compatible I guess it means when attacking. Which means when attacking turrets it goes up. To transform you either hit 100% rage and wait, or you active a ability, which upgrades the ability to its mega form.

The issue is that it goes up in any combat, and once you go mega and go back you don't get any rage, which means timings can be terrible

It can indeed be terrible. So far it's been hilarious to play path vs gnar. Joke poke him down and trololol when he goes big and poke home some more.

Encountered a Gnar jungler last night and he was terrible. Nautilus spanked him something rotten - he spent too much time in jungle grinding out 6

Really? Why would they bother? I mean Gnar is not a Tank. He can be tanky. I personally stick to top or bottom.

Really stupid, whoever was doing that.
