If your "View New Content" is returning way too much stuff for your liking consider marking things As Read.
To do this click 'Mark Community Read' down the bottom left corner of the whole site and select the appropriate feature. Note: This will mark everything in that section as read.

I don't know how many people still play Battlefield 4 but emblems are working now. Well they are on Xbox 360 anyway.
Basically this site has Emblems on it which you can use such as:
