It's not bad JC, I know this is going to sound like I'm picking, im trying to help; but is there no light source? I see shadows and a reflection in the eyes...either way, I like the background and the chains

Doh! I try to pay you a compliment and now i feel like a douche. At least you can come up with a new character design, mine feel like rehashes of other people's.

There is actually a light direction (right to left). you see it most noticeably on the highlights on the hands and the shadows from the clothes and hair. There is 2 white circles on each eye positioned to the right as well. (I'm actually obsessive about light directions ever since painting Sanguinary Gold and all their gold highlights)
