The award system is something I too would very much like to see as people have incentive to play if they will get something out of it. Would it be possible to have some Space Marine based awards like what we have now? I know it's a dying game but I would like to try and keep it alive for as long as possible.

Idk fuzzy I didn't read the full description, I just know that the teams plugin is a must for us so when the Eternal Crusade factions form they can have a way to communicate within the factions

Eventually BF4 will become one of the major games on the site....idk when so I think the plug in for battlelog will put us ahead of the game

Very good point. I'm currently trying to get my PayPal set up but I've had to make so many phone calls with things going wrong at it not working its unreal. When I get it set up however I'll definitely be chipping in. Seems as I stopped partying as much I have some free cash I can spare.

for Factions. It essentially allows Faction Leaders full control over their group and faction forums. Exactly how much of it's features we will be enabling is yet to be determined, only those that fit within our vision will be used obviously.

The Battlelog one is on my list of ones I had wanted, but I've blown my budget for the site pushing us over the funding goal and buying the bits of code I needed to start working on the forum. First up will be the Social Group plugin, since there's a lot of imminent donations I think we'll get it fine.

for awards because it has far more features and can do both awards and achievements.

@Fuzzy - Awards and Achievements can be created for a game, but because it would be an honour bound system it could easily be abused if a Leader wanted to blast a member up the award ranks. This time around almost all Achievements will be automated, Awards will be for events and such. We can try running SM things again, but time has shown few people are interested in playing that game competitively now.

Cru, I get what you're saying but surely it should be an expectation of a faction leader that is handing out the awards to be mature and not abuse the system. As for SM I get that but I just feel like maybe we can go for a couple more tourneys before EC.

History has shown that Leaders cannot be relied on to be unbiased, and put the good of the community and their faction before their own (and their close circle's) good. With EC we hope to position ourselves to be the dominant community once more, which means we're probably going to have hundreds of factions. Now consider how fucking hard that'll be to police for abuse.

As for SM I get that but I just feel like maybe we can go for a couple more tourneys before EC.

Subject for another thread Fuzzball. I'll round it off to say Spec tried to run one and it flopped due to lack of commitment.

We should be looking for cool new features that will make life here better, but without adding complexity or potential for fighting. It's gonna happen anyway, no need to encourage it

Keep looking though, there are way to many files for me to consider on that marketplace and some that appeal to you guys might not necessarily catch my eye.
