Today the first snow fell.. The sun is appearing much shorter times each day. The temperature is dropping, and the frost giants are gaining power.

Soon the land will be covered in snow, with temperatures dropping below -20 Celsius, and the sun will only gaze lightly over the horizon before disappearing again. Only the strongest and most adaptable of animals will survive in this climate. Those that are weaker have already fled to warmer places. Now the six months of winter begin!

Or maybe it's only here in Northern Sweden that it's like that..?
Oh well, either way winter is coming! And I can hardly wait!

The cold, the snow, the darkness! It's so wonderful! You can't do anything but love it! Well, you can, but I can't..
I'm really looking forward to it all. Everything from shoveling snow, to Catty's personal remake of Bambi on ice..

Or feeling the crisp morning grass crunch beneath my feet...

Winter... which means it's almost my birthday. And christmas.

The ice has starting a war against me! Together with car-doors and chairs, it's trying to kill me...
When I was young I loved the winter.

Now it's cold... And I might have yelled at it, that I hate the winter, that day my car didn't want to start, I needed to walk home, my feet froze, and I fell, and was cold and...
(do you feel sorry for me yet? No... Okay... )
And it's mean...
And it's slippery...
And I look like a fluff bun in my ugly winter-clothes..

Is Winter freezing you and your stuff? Then you need the new Flamethrowers to heat yourself up on the days when the heating just isn't up to the job.

Perhaps I just like burning things... Winters gives you an excuse to burn things... Humans included.

Hm.... I find myself always enjoying winter. The cooler it gets the happier I am. So, as it progresses if I get any snowfall where I live I shall be happy.

You're not taking the winter away from me! You've had your summer with annoying insects, unbearable heat and a lawn growing like a tropical forest. Now it's my turn! Now it's time for winters embrace, when everything dies and the quicksilver drops like the American economy!

You knew that this was how it would be when you moved up to the north! Now come a little closer so we can huddle for warmth..

Smörgåstårta is only for special occasions! And how would I be able to enjoy it when I'm sweating like a pig (not that pigs sweat a terrible lot from my experience) and panting like a dying dog in the NZ summer heat? No way..

The only reason I would get that warm during the winter is in a sauna.
So no New Zealand for you!

I personally love the winter it is so nice and cool here in cali. Its like the perfect temperature.
